A Long Time Traveler Empty
PostSubject: A Long Time Traveler   A Long Time Traveler Icon_minitimeWed Mar 05, 2014 9:00 pm

The snow that swirled down from the grey sky above made the forest have a magical tint to it, despite the blackened looking branches and the sad looking weeping willows. The branches were bared down with the heavy weight of the snow, and the ground was well covered with it. It had been snowing since the night before and it seemed it would never end. Raissa, although, never got tired of looking at it. Raissa let out a soft sigh as she looked over the white powdery place she now called home. What a day.. She thought and her thoughts once more were capture by the swirling wind. Raissa shut her eyes and shook her head. I haven't been to the city in..years...I should go back..But...how can i face them? The thought of facing her parents..if they were even alive...made Raissa shiver. Its been a couple of years now...maybe..maybe everyone forgot. Her thoughts were filled with hope but her soul was not. She knew that no one would forget the dreaded night, Raissa would never forget. Standing from the rock she had been sitting on which was now slowly being covered with snow she moved slowly onwards. Raissa gritted her teeth as she moved through the cold air and she lowered her head slightly as the wind gusted against her. It was almost a warning to her saying;Don't go back. Go here. Raissa listened to the wind and turned back. She had been following a strange scent for a few days now trying to figure out what in the world it could possibly be. It had first caught her attention back when she was just starting out in this forest. It was a new place, it was farther away from her old city and it...had a pleasant feeling to it. Like..home. It was strange to feel this way since she had only ever felt it when she was a child. It was like a light shining down and memorizing her, the forest had a pull on her very soul. A prickling feeling raced up Raissa spine and she slowly turned her green eyes flashing as she did. Her long brown hair was tied into a tight braided behind her back and it was almost like a whip. Her sharp features seemed sharper in the cold, with the flush of red that showed her face. "Is there anybody there?" She asked aloud the wind taking her soft voice in the wind. Even with 20/20 vision Raissa saw nothing. Nothing but the swirling white of the everlasting snow. It was an odd feeling, the feeling of being watched it caused butterflies in her stomach and it made her shiver. Raissa started to walk again moving quietly in the soft snow. She was nearing the scent again, but this time it was much stronger. She stopped next to an old willow tree its branches were laddened with ice making the leaves inside seem a sharper color. She moved the willow branches away and stepped under the canopy that blocked some of the falling snow. The scent here was strong, and Raissa touched the tree feeling a strange power emanating from it. It made her suck in a breath and then pull away slightly from it. "What have I stepped into?" She asked aloud her green eyes following up the twisted knobs of the tree and up to the very top. It was dizzying to follow it all but it was very beautiful.

It seemed like a familiar thing to Raissa, she had remembered something...well it tickled in her mind that the scent and the way the scent was marked..it just jogged something in her memory. She slowly sat down at the base of willow tree to keep her butt dry and laid her head against the trunk closing her eyes. I have to remember. I have to. She thought to herself her breathing soft but shallow, as she tried to roll back..back when she was younger. It was only a few moments of thought but nothing came to her. It was to hard, she pressed her fingers to the bridge of her nose and let out a whisper like sigh. She could feel her braid slowly coming loose and she took off the scrunchie and untwisted her hair from the braid her scent blowing on the wind as she did. She let her hair cover her face like a screen and she rested her chin in her hand. "Why am i staying here?" She asked aloud sitting up and pulling her jacket slightly away from her and resting. "I'm sure who ever left the scent...could return. What if they-" She cut herself off and shook her head. I shouldn't be so friggen worried. I have nothing to worry about. Why? Raissa smiled to herself, she realized she recognized the scent from another part of the city. It...it smelled like her. The scent was different in that it smelled male but...it was the same concept. Maybe..i'm not alone. Maybe they can teach me. She thought and almost stood up excitedly. She relaxed herself and looked around the prickly feeling back. "I...I'm not here to hurt anybody. I..who is out there?" She called out to the swirling snow and wind. The wind was cold as it was bitter but it didn't bother Raissa now. The warmth she felt inside her was making her skin feel warm. She ran her fingers through her long hair and smiled to herself. Yes, this could be her new home. Raissa moved around the willow tree passing the border, but stopped a few inches away from it a little afraid to go any further...for a moment. Raissa moved through the border but only stopped a few feet glancing around, she felt like eyes were all around her and maybe they were but she could not detect them. It made Raissa want to keep moving but deeper the pull on her soul stronger. "I'm getting in way over my head." Raissa muttered her pouty like lips pulling down into a scowl as she looked around her green eyes alight with an inner beauty. The bartender continued to walk slower than before the snow had slowed to just a faint few flakes falling. The forest was darker towards this part but it seemed that was because the oaks grew closer together blocking out what little light there was. The grey clouds were moving now, but only bringing in darker black clouds. Maybe a rain storm, the wind carried the scent of heavy clouds. Raissa stopped a good chunk of the way in resting against one of the rough trunks of a tree and looking up at the sky, or what little she could see, and stared at the black clouds that slowly rolled in. Maybe i was wrong. Maybe this isn't the place i was searching for. Maybe... She stopped her thought and took in a sharp breath. The scent...it was washing over here. Someone was there. Raissa slowly turned and let out a frightened gasp.
(So i know my paragraphing is a little weird but that is because i typed it in Notebook and saved it earlier this morning. I apologize for it.)

Patrolling the area around him, he moved about the border. He made his way around, making the normal rounds he had always made. He took the same way he had the morning before and marked the areas he had not previously. Allowing his fresh scent to linger over the boundary like a wildfire, he took in a deep breath. A wolf was nearby, very near to him. The snow had been coming down hard this day. The white specks clung to the tips of black coat. His eyes were sealed shut as he expelled himself among the ground. His head lolled backwards, resting on his shoulders as his tongue slipped from his ajar maw. When he finished, he shook it to stop and continued on his path. His tongue moved back to the protection of his closed jaws. His eyes moved about the land, watching as the snow blanketed his home in a cold frost sheet. Lucian moved slowly, until the scent of a wandered crossed his nose. someone had crossed his markers, entered their lands, and broke the laws of the rogue. Snarling angrily, he huffed his ice breath into the air, and forced his legs to propel forward. Claws took handfuls of snow beneath them, forcing his way across the terrain in a blind fury. Snow and ice pelted his eyes, yet he continued. He grew angrier as he saw the foot prints roaming deeper and deeper into his land, into his home. The scent told him it was a werewolf, but humans had their tricks. He had seen a human wearing a wolf pelt, which had crossed his lands, thinking it would be safe. Lucian sprang from the darkness, landing on all fours before the creature. His chest breathed in deeply, huffing and puffing as the breath escaped through his onyx nose. His maddening green orbs stared at the one before him. "Are you mad? Have you gone completely insane? You have just crossed the borders to my land. Instead of stopping, you continue as if you own the place? What do you think this is?" He snarled as he stood on his hind legs, towering over her. His fangs were revealed, lips curled back, exposing the blood-stained canines which had been around far longer than the one before him. "I should kill you where you stand! Give me a reason not to!"

Raissa was planning on making her way back despite the pull she felt in her soul. She felt an estranged danger, something pricking in the back of her mind to push her back towards the border. Don't go any further. It said in a whisper like tone deep in her mind. You will be punished..hurt...scarred... Raissa ran her fingers through her long thick brown hair her light green eyes flicking over the snow covered terrain in front of her. She was stopped in the middle of a small clearing the sun trying to peak it's way through the ever lasting black clouds, making obscene shadows in its wake. Danger! Danger! The voice in her head...maybe her wolf...was trying to warn her of the pounding footsteps. Raissa had just turned towards where she had started her trek, her footprints slowly being swallowed  up by the snow when he appeared. He leaped from the thorny bushes like a stalking predator and she watched as he slid in the snow and stopped in front of her crouched on all fours. She could see the very anger in his eyes and she felt her heart speed up in her chest. The eyes looked so human, so deadly, Raissa's own green eyes were wide but she held back the fear that she felt and let it bubble under the surface. She took a small step back as the male lifted up on his hind legs and stood over her. Raissa's hair was wild as the wind whipped over the small clearing making the snow swirl on the tree branches shake with an unknown fury. Her jeans had marks of melted snow and her jacket, which had been zipped down, was flapping in the wind like the wings of a crow. Raissa could only take a few small steps back before she was pressed to a tree her eyes on the werewolf. He is like me. This was the first thought that came to her mind, as she watched his lips peel back and his blood stained fangs come into view. She knew he had many many years on her but she didn't let that stop her from pushing away from the tree and taking a step forward. She gripped her hands into fists, not to show that she was more dominate but to stop the shaking. She had not met another werewolf, and it seemed this first meeting would not go well. His words hit her, his voice was deep gravely and non friendly. She stared up into his cold green orbs her own had a fiery cold light to them before she relaxed any tension inside of her and spoke softly. "You should not kill me. I know i wouldn't be more than a person in the large work of destiny but I...I know this is what I have been searching for." She stopped some color coming to her cheeks making them appear pink the white of the day. It was going to be hard to explain it to a snarling wolf but she needed him to understand that the pull she felt it was different.  "I felt a strong pull...a pull on my soul I guess you could call it..and I decided to see why there was such a strong pull..I am not sorry for crossing the border into a beautiful land such as yours but I do not mean any disrespect." Raissa said her words, her voice soft yet had a powerful tone to it. She had spoken to him trying to get him to understand she meant no harm at all. She knew that he may attack her, especially if he did not take kindly to her words. Raissa's unconscious mind was telling her to run away. Run because danger was pooling from him, he could kill her in a quick bite. She looked at his fangs now and then his strong muscled body. I wouldn't get two steps before he battled me to the ground and killed me. She thought, and the thought caused a shiver to run down her spine but she felt something at a deeper level that she pushed away. New feelings were not allowed, she couldn't afford to feeling anything but the..guilt the pain she had caused other people. "My name is Raissa." She said glancing at the snow laddened trees, it really was a beautiful place.

"No disrespect to me? No disrespect to me? No disrespect to me?" Each time he spoke the sentence, his tone grew more and more angry. "I don't know what world you came from, what place you decided to leave and come to my land, and disrespect me, but you should take a minute and think before you take another fucking step into my land." Lucian was never one to cuss, but his body was fuming with anger. He did not know how to control himself, to speak his mind openly without the use of profound language. His eyes watched her, taking note of her balled fist and her step towards him. What was this? Anarchy? Lucian could feel the blood within his body boiling angrily, bubbling and bursting, exploding within him. This time he took a step closer to her, pushing her against a tree. She was lucky that was all she got from him at this moment in time. "I am Alpha Lucian of these lands, the original werewolf and the master to these parts. You must not be very bright as you ball your fist at me and then take a step even closer once I have already told you that this is not good and a sign of disrespect. If you continue to go this route, I will kill you before you take another breath. Speak only what I ask of you. Do not move out of turn. Shift to your primal form and show me your respect. Lower yourself to the floor at my feet and give me the proper respects as your Alpha that I truly deserve. If you do not act in this manner, I will enjoy ripping your throat from your body and feasting on your carcass." He snarled and bared his fangs again. His tail curled behind his back, while his menacing eyes stared at her, wishing she would move again and do what he had not asked of her. "Why have you come here? What can you do for my pack? What skill set do you offer me?"

Each time he spoke those three words his voice seemed to get deeper and lower. Raissa knew she was in trouble now, his primal instincts were showing. Raissa could feel a whine clinging to her throat but she would not let it escape. Yes, it had been a mistake to step forward and ball up her fists but she was just about as angry as him. Raissa shoved the fear out of her body her whole body trembling with anger, but when he took a step closer and forced her against a tree her eyes narrowed up at him. She felt enclosed, claustrophobic. Raissa closed her eyes trying to stop the trembling, she listened to his words with her brown eyes closed. The wind whipped around them cascading her hair over her shoulders and face. She twitched a little when he said not to move, to lower herself to the ground and grovel... It made her anger rocket sky high, her brown eyes snapped open, blazing. "Shall i just call you master to?" She asked her voice low and soft against the harsh howling wind. The snow was whipping around them, his taller frame getting snow mixed into it. Raissa gripped her hands into fists again but relaxed them. Shift into her other form? That's what pissed her off, she didn't like to shift into her other form...bad things happened when she did. She knew her snarky reply would probably get her killed or pinned down to the ground and ripped to shreds. Her jacket flapped in the wind, his and her scent mingling together. She kept her back pressed to the tree, but could not make herself shift. Instead she clung to the tree and shuddered slightly. "I will answer but..i will not shift." She said softly to him, not making eye contact with him, looking at his furred belly instead. I'm going to die. She thought.

(I can see this turning so many different ways xD Its amazing. Haha I'm having a lot of fun with this. I dont usually get to play disobedient members.)

[Sorry for the delay, Raissa. I tried to reply and I lost it. Freaking computer deleted it.]

She continued to deny him what he wanted. She continued to show her disrespect towards him, their race, and above all, his lands. Who was she to think she could cross into the lands of a king and act as if she could do as she pleased? Lucian had prepared these lands for his own bidding, to help the werewolves come together and defeat the other races. All his years with his growing family, he knew how to be an Alpha, how the pack was supposed to act. Yet here this loner stood before him, dressed as a human and defying him time after time. A great snarl escaped from his lips to her words. He thought briefly of killing her, but what would that do for his people? What would that do for their numbers? It would not help, but he was not going to let some female come and do as she wanted. No, he would get his respect, even if he forced it upon her. Opening the palm of his hand, his claws stretched and bared themselves to her. He growled angrily and lifted his hand into the sky. As he brought it back down, he cut her deep from above her left eye to the right portion of her cheek. The blood dripped down her face. Before she could react, Lucian spun her around and forced her to the ground. he pressed his chest to her back and snarled angrily. "Shift and answer me, of this night will be a very painful one you will never forget." He snarled and stared down at her, forcing her to stay on the ground.

(That's fine! I have been busy with school.xD I'm having a lot of fun with this!)
Raissa saw his face change from the anger it had been to even more anger, she watched his lips curl back into a vicious snarl. It almost scared Raissa as she stood her back pressed against the tree trunk, the snow flurries had stopped but it was still cloudy and it was beginning to grow dark. The clouds in the east were darkening to a slow black sickly color and the grey above them was a soft lighter grey. Of course she didn't know how to act, she had lived with the humans...she didn't know what she was for the longest time! Raissa didn't know how to act towards a male that was stronger than her, to be honest it shocked her just how strong..how tall he was. Her eyes flashed towards his movement and she glanced up towards his paw just in time for him to slice down, she felt his sharp claws dig deep into her skin above her eye cutting into her eye brow as it went down to her right cheek. Warm blood gushed forth and began running down her face. Raissa tried to blink but all of the sudden she couldn't see out of her left eye. She opened her mouth to snarl, yell, anything but she hadn't expected him to move so quickly. She was spun around now facing the hard bark of the tree and she felt pinned as she hit the ground jarring her ribs painfully against a root that was sticking out on the ground. She let out a soft gasp of pain as he pressed his chest into her back. She could feel his heart beat even through all this, and it was steady. Her own heartbeat was racing in her chest, causing more blood to gush from her wound, making her feel sick. The blood was running into her mouth as she was constantly breathing through her mouth. The air was whistling out of her lungs as she drew in short breaths. She spat out blood her head was throbbing from the blow. He was commanding her to shift. She felt her shoulders tense, she was afraid to shift. She growled low in her throat hardly able to get it out as she did. She didn't want to shift, but she was starting to understand that he would do so much more to her. In a way, she liked the pain..a lot. Many would say she is a sadist but she was right now, trying to calm herself. "Let me up and I will shift." She croaked her thraot aching softly, and her head was pounding. Yes, she would shift, but she knew it was already going to be a long night. She was afraid of her other form, she had killed with it and she hated it.
