Yesterday was a big night at the club in which Evan works as a DJ. There was a special event going on which caused a vast variety of people to crowd into Lavender Lounge; leaving no space on the dance floor to even move. It was packed full. It's pretty amazing how an hour of half price booze can attract so many people to meet up and have fun whilst gradually losing their minds and soberness. Evan didn't majorly benefit from this deal as he already received drinks for free as a gratitude for working there and creating the vibrant party atmosphere which allowed the crowd to truly enjoy themselves all night long. Evan was at the club until 3am and was shattered by the time he returned home. As soon as he laid on his bed, he fell asleep almost instantly. He didn't anticipate on staying so late but he quite regularly had to do things which he didn't necessarily want to do. After all, his job is to provide non-stop music which he had edited to make it his own and to suit the lively club atmosphere.

After a well-deserved sleep, Evan eventually woke up at just after 1pm and took a shower to freshen up. He was hungover but the young man forced himself out of bed. Once he was ready, he decided that he was going to head outside and explore somewhere new. Evan is very curious to experience new things which makes him want to travel around and develop new experiences plus new friendships along the way. He left his place and began walking through town, following a different route from his usual and familiar one. He eventually arrived at a small lane which was a good distance away from the inner-city, where he normally spent his time. Walking down the lane lead him to a tranquil village. Nobody seemed to be around but the area gave off a warm and welcoming vibe. Evan stood at the outskirts of the village, wanting to look around and explore the cosy village. The mild spring breeze whizzed through the sky, ruffling the newly grown leaves of surrounding trees.

The Noble work up, startled and scraggly with his hair sticking up on end and his tail sprawling off the side of his bed until it curled over his lap. His eyes were bloodshot, irritated through which sleep had become less manageable in the time of the Queen's absence. Connor rubbed his face in long, circular motions, groaning into his soft palms and forearm that stroked against his brows, a set of fingers raking through his thin-cut dark brown hair. Lately he has been experiencing larger amounts of nightmares occurring in his only slumber, this affecting his daily routines and time for work to be made. Luckily he had been able to sell an estimation of five guitars and two basses to some fortunate customers that walked into his work-place, leaving him enough money to supply his needs for a month tops. He didn't really feel the need to ask for a raise, for he was paid on these lands personally as an assistant to the Queen. She agreed to give him a reasonable price, to which he fought her over slightly in disregard that now they were an item, and she did not need to pay him for his duties, but she persisted. He had her to thank for that, and without the money, he would still love her all the same, if only he could pull some better moves to really 'woo' her, or, however they say these days. He shook his head.

Getting up, he yawned and groggily put on a fresh pair of jeans he found folded in his drawers, along with a slim-fitting grey, long-sleeved shirt. The perfect casual outfit for a quick walk through the lands for wondering newbies. Once he was finished using the bathroom, brushing his hair and teeth, he made sure to look himself over before grabbing a blue scarf and wrapped it loosely around his neck and drape over his chest. He admired the outfit he wore and nodded in agreement to his choice before walking out the door and shutting it carefully with a 'click' to ensure that it was locked. His fingers jingled the keys as he strolled further onto the sidewalk and put them into his pockets, keeping his head high and black ears pointed while his single-white ringed, black tail whipped pleasantly behind him. A simple smile creased at the corners of his lips as he walked onwards, enjoying the peace and silence the village had always possessed and nodding his head to the little tune he hummed. As he got closer to the boundaries to which surrounded their territories, he sensed something different, but comforting, as it was another of his kind. Sniffing the air, he made a soft purr unintentionally and pointed his nose into the direction to where it was most strongest. His olive orbs batted quietly before he got a mild hold of the scent and casually followed towards it. Without a doubt, a man stood at the end, waiting patiently for another, though his eyes proved little of his suspicions. Connor tilted his head before raising his hand in welcome, waving to him while he moved closer to a safe-distance from the mere other. "Good evening, fox. I am the Noble of these lands to which we, the Mora, own. You may refer to me as Noble Connor, or simply Connor is fine." He smiled and put out his hand kindly to the man, welcoming him to the Queen's kingdom and the happy place she owned for their safety. "How may I be of your service?" He asked, curling his tail around his leg and uncurling too and fro.

Evan glanced around, scanning the beautiful scenery which enclosed the quiet village. A faint, melodic humming became audible to the Kitsune and gradually grew louder as the gentle-voiced male responsible for the tune came closer to where Evan was stood. A young-looking man approached him with his tail swishing energetically behind him and gave the Kitsune a friendly wave just as Evan spotted him. Once he realised that he was also a Mora, he allowed his ears and tail to show upon his body. Evan too raised a hand and nodded to the Neko before he was soon in front of him. Now that he was up close, his bloodshot eyes were visible along with an unmaintained carpet of stubble. It looked as if he hadn't been catching enough sleep recently but the Kitsune didn't judge him; he looked pretty rough today as well. As the superior began to speak, Evan's small, fluffy ears twitched playfully as they registered the Noble's words. "Evening Connor. My name is Evan. Nice scarf by the way, buddy." He held out his hand in greeting and Evan shook it firmly accompanied by a confident grin. After the strong handshake, he let go of the other's hand and put his in the pocket of his ripped jeans. The seemingly warm Neko asked him a question to which he replied; "Seems like a safe and pleasant village you have here. I would very much like to live amongst the Mora and join you and the Queen." He hadn't intended on finding a new home anytime soon but now that he had found the lands in which his kind belonged, there was nowhere else he'd rather be.

"Pleasure to meet you, Evan." He replied, his smile still intact while his eyes flitted back and forth to register all of the man before him. Connor brushed a set of fingers roughly through his hair before sliding it back down to his side. He had a habit with doing that, one of which he wished to break, but at this point it had sadly become a part of his instincts. His olive eyes were level with the Kitsune's as he spoke, averting them down to his scarf and laughing once while nodding his head, "Thanks, man. Got a great deal on it too." He remembered as to where he got it, and he couldn't help but to buy it for the cheap price they had tagged onto the fabric. As his hand grazed against the material and along the strip, he removed it to stuff back into his back-pockets after rolling up the sleeves of his shirt and leaning on his heels. The Neko scratched the incoming stubble across his chin and cracked his neck before returning Evan's attention, "It would be an honor to have you apart of our ranks, but first, I must know of what all you are capable of. What abilities or strengths do you have, and if you were to be given a rank, would you represent it with your best and purest loyalty to the Queen that leads us?" Connor's cat ears rotated into a half-circle till they faced the back of his head, his nose wrinkling slightly before he rubbed it with a free hand and sniffed hard. Perhaps he was getting a cold, he thought, blinking a couple times and then looking back at Evan to see as to what he would say.

After receiving Evan's compliment, the Noble removed the blue rectangle of fabric from his neck and stuffed it into his back pocket. He rolled up his sleeves and leant back on his heels; his posture becoming more relaxed and open as if he felt comfortable around the Kitsune before him. The sun mildly shone upon the dewy hedgerow which lined the narrow pathway that led into the village's heart, making the fresh greenery sparkle subtly when the light caught a water droplet. The village resonated a strong homely vibe of closeness and warmth which played on Evan's feelings. For some reason he could picture himself raising a family here and truth be told, that's what he really wanted. Love was something that he hadn't experienced in all of its greatness. He couldn't help but smile as he now had the chance to begin his own life, in a safe haven surrounded by other Mora whom would work together as a team to thrive and grow their numbers without being threatened by other races; mainly the humans. As the other spoke, his eyes flicked to Connor's before he began his response. "I am highly skilled in the art of fighting and even have a black belt in karate as a symbol of my dedication to the craft. I would fight my hardest to protect our kind and wouldn't let anyone threaten our wellbeing. Whatever the Queen asks of me, I will follow and I refuse to let any of you down." He spoke sincerely and had a passionate focus within his eyes as all his words were heartfelt. The thought of their Queen entered his mind. What was she like? Where was she currently? Hopefully, soon he would have the pleasure of meeting the leader of the Mora.
