PostSubject: Lady Of The Night   Sat Jul 27, 2013 8:25 pm

Spending his days within the borders of his land, he grew bored and tiresome. It had been a long time since he had ventured out with the humans. Perhaps now was the time to seek their company once again. Walking about his den, he moved to the wardrobe, opening its double doors and searching through his clothes. By time he had found the perfect attire, the day had turned to night. He chuckled as he looked outside the entrance to his den. Shifting to his primal form, he moved below the waterfall, moving out and into the open. Shaking his body from top to bottom, he forced the water to slide from his form, splashing to the ground around him. Once he was completely dry, he shifted back to his human form. His button-down shirt was rolled at the sleeves, his black slacks pressed tight to his muscular thighs, loosening at the knees and falling to his dress shoes below. Running a hand through his hair, he could feel the moist feeling clinging to each other strand. He chuckled and shook his head from side to side, hoping to give it the bounce he needed. Ladies loved his hair, it was so thick and handsome. It was a tool he used in his hand of gifts, one he would often rely on. He knew he was handsome and glowing with the "animal magnetism", as it was referred to by some high up there doctor. Whatever it was, he enjoyed the small advantages it gave him over the common human male.

Making his way to the neutral lands, he stuffed his hands into his pockets, humming to himself. As he made it to the lightened corners of the city streets, he walks casually along. Down the street he could see the other races, mingling with their own, some brave enough to mingle with the humans. A horrid stench crossed his nose, one he knew as a vampire. It was not the vampire he had met before, but his stench was just as vile. Lucian continued on his path, looking for the large lavender sign amongst the street signs and city trees. His green eyes targeted the sign, reading it's name softly from his lips, "Lavender Lounge". As he moved closer, he could smell more and more species coming from this building. The humans and other races had mostly been drunk, mingling with one another as if nothing could happen. But then again, this was common ground for all. Everyone was to be safe here. The treaties that had been set long before his birth, thrived in this places, along with others. Nearing the front of the line, Lucian flashed the body guard his ID and was allowed inside without hassle. A groups of four Mora males complained about he being let in, when they had been refused and forced to wait. It was a simple and known fact that even though the place had been run by the Mora Queen herself, Lucian had spent a lot of money here. When he did decide to grace others with his presence.

Making his way to the bar, he hailed the attention of the bartender and ordered his drink. Orange ears flickered as she heard him call her name. The blonde hairs upon her back swirled around greeting Lucian with a smile. "Lucian!" she shouted above the music. He gave her a tender smile. "I shall be in my usual place. Please bring the drink menu and a Jack and coke to start. I plan on spending very much on this night." With a dashing smile, he turned and made his way to the seated lounge area reserved for their high-ballers. Taking a seat, he waited for her to come to him. Such a sweet Kitsune, Sylvana. Before no time, there she was, making her way towards him with a stunning smile he always loved to see. Her bushy tail bounced behind her back, flicking from side to side and playfully following her hourglass frame. Her bright blue eyes shone in the room, glaring to him and he alone. "Here you are Lucian," she said as she placed the drink on the table and leaned in close to hug him. Wrapping his arm around her, he held her tight to his chest. Her dainty nose sampled his cologne, blocking the smell of dog to the untrained nose. But she did not care. She had been around Lucian enough times to know what scent he was wearing and why. "You're a sly dog Lucain..." she giggled as she pulled from him. "Don't break too many hearts," she whispered as she moved back towards the bar. His emerald hues watches her hips sway back and forth as she left him. Picking up his drink, he sipped from it and inspected the menu. Taking his eyes from the small text, he looked to the dance floor, watching from the perfect spot.

[[ Sorry if its long. This is nothing compared to Lost though. ]]

The lights turned out inside her place of work, pieces and scraps of paper balls thrown about the room with scribbled ideas upon them, large, thick leather bound books and newest technologies to scatter the tables. She had no intentions of going home just yet, she was too tired to lock herself away in her cave like she had been doing the last few days. The white tiger shifter needed exercise, fresh air, to gain more on her social skills with the other races so she knew what was being put up against in the case of a threat. Her pack was growing rapidly, quicker than she would think, which was lovely, but time-crunching all the same. Thankfully for her, her shop had been built to be a two floored apartment, so the change of clothes or somewhere for her to crash was always open for her to stay. A raspe voice behind her caused her to look up, and turn around, meeting the man's gaze with her pale blue stare, "Ms. White, I am heading back to camp, do you need a ride or are you resting here for the night?" Dak said in a polite tone, staying composed and collected before her as she was his leader. There was nothing special about him, only but the rank of a Baron, the soul of a hyena, and a lousy and improving one at that. Eden had given him the position for his foolish behavior, forcing him to clean the shop and work as he slave of an assistant. "I'm fine, I'm going to stay behind for a while longer and run some... errands." Behind his shoulders, she turned her attention to the lighting in the skies, seeing it was turning darker and darker with every passing moment, the streetlights one by one light the cemented paths that laced through the friendly, quiet town.

Once the shifter had bowed and drove off, Eden then decided her plans for the evening, trusting her Bellators and Epror to keep a close watch on the lands like always as she found the idea to have some fun for once. As a tiger, it was rare for her to ever leave her position for the likes of crowds, but tonight was different. Instead of being so uptight and strict about getting a couple things done, the tigress ended with taking a small break to enjoy the time to enjoy her life while she still could. The closest of hers overflowed with clothing, changing and stripping free of her casual attire to fit tightly into a pair of denim blue jeans that held several rips and tears along her long legs. Buttoning a black vest around nothing but a black, bomb-shelled bra, she adjusted her chest to appear perky to any male's attention, the spark of humor sending her smile to smirk as she could see the eyes all on her as she walked through. As she pulled her hair back behind her shoulders, she helped herself to slip into a pair of yellow heels, bright like her personality, stepping in front of the mirror to put on her make up which included of a light layer of pink gloss to her pouty lips and a swipe of mascara. Ever since she had been introduced to the substances that human female used for attraction, she cared little for it, only using small amounts as she believed it was her words and body to pull in a male, just like in her primal form.

Walking out from her shop, she locked it behind her, tugging lightly at the ends of her vest, the bottom half high enough to reveal her belly button and a majority of her chest, the golden locket of hers dangling in the dip. As the scent of her race descended, she knew she was hitting the dividing line, the neutralized territories agreed upon for all of the races created over dusk before time to run freely together as they pleased. Their were most advantages to the areas such as them, but all to well to easily stir the mixture in order to cause disruptions between the races. The city was washed over with night's dark skies and twinkly lights to keep the buildings and streets alive, sparkling in the reflection of her eyes. Soon enough the evening, blue and purple glow shown from a building not far from where she was walking, owned by the Mora queen she knew, but was too busy to find any thing else out. This is a new thing to her, and hopefully socializing with the other race could give her an indication of what they were being put up against in case of a threat. But what was she doing? This was for fun, not business. Relaxing herself, she passed the long line of complaining individuals, both Mora and a rare amount of humans, one vampire at the end that was sniffing someone's shoulder. As she showed the bouncer her ID and snuck a quick fifty for him, releasing her to pass by with more whining from the others.

It was a sitch moving through the crowd of dancing bodies, sashaying her way slowly to the bar to see a Kitsune as the bartender making small talk with a couple of men at the other then, looking up with a giddy expression to see the tigress get her attention, "What'll it be, sweet cheeks?" Her tone was musical, bouncy just like her blonde hair that was tucked behind her fox-like ears. What a strange creature, was all that Eden could think as she looked up, "A Cosmo will be find, extra lime, will you?" She asked in a behaved tone, leaning against the counter as she looked to the ocean blue and sunset lavender tilted floor, the music pounding in her ears but she didn't mind it. "Coming right up!" The Kitsune winked, bouncing back over to the glasses and bottles of various alcohols. Within a few minutes, she had returned with the drink in hand, she peered at the shifter strangely, then shaking it off like as if it were nothing. Eden gave her the money quickly, then taking a sip, eyeing the room suspiciously for any familiar faces. A werewolf's scent practically burned inside her nostrils, his stench causing her to look up and glance passed the figures. Before she could find whom the werewolf was, a charming Neko came to her side and whistles, the strong smell of whiskey and sweat from another body radiating off his skin and mouth. "Comeee..here ooften..? Hmmhmm..?" His words slurred, telling her that he was wasted beyond relief, but as her gaze glared into his, his hand slipped uncomfortably along her side. She made a noise in disgust, shoving the man back so she could move towards the dancers so she could get away from him, putting down her drink before anything and grabbing a tall, muscled man by his wrist and forcing him to move with her body. His brows shot up out of shock, then relaxed and nodded in approval as he lightly pinched her waist, turning her around as Eden swayed her hips to the music.

Emerald eyes watched as the female bumped along with the crowd, making her way back to the bar. She made a couple drinks for others, but was quick to return to Lucian. Sylvana, the beautiful Kitsune. All the men in the club loved her for her spunk and intelligence. She was the smartest creature he had ever met, unlike any other Mora. Lucian was soon reconnected with her as she rested beside him with his drink. As she came to pick up his glass, he pulled her close, whispering into her ear. She smiled and giggled as spoke to her of the males that had been drooling over her all night. She enjoyed his company and his charms. She knew that he was a friend, nothing more than that, perhaps her protector. There were many times he had to toss out a couple men who got too touchy with her. Lucian was a gentleman for the most part, allowing the beast deep within to only surface when it was completely necessary. Although, there were those times he lost himself completely, allowing the monster to consume his thought processes and do things Lucian would never allow. These times were rare, but caused much damage to all who witnessed it. But soon he was pulled from his thoughts, consumed with her gentle voice. “Is there anything else I can get you Lucian?” Her eyes twinkled in the dark, reflecting the orbs of light which moved about the ceiling. Lucian looked to her, resting a hand on her shoulder, “just keep them coming dear.” He replied in a tender voice. With a light peck to his cheek, she flushed herself back into the crowd once more. He grabbed his fresh drink, taking a sip from it as he watched over them once more.

Lucian was used to watching people move around, trying to dance. He even watched the few that could dance with the rhythm. He would sometimes find himself deep in the sweat and aphrodisiacs. But tonight he would watch, and that was exactly what he did. Moving his glass to his lips once more, his eyes stretched over the crowd, focusing on the door as it opened slowly, allowing the lights of the street to filter into the dark room. In the short effects of the lighting, stood a female. Her hair was light, close to a platinum blonde color. Her eyes, he could not see perfectly, but somehow he knew they were different. Using his acute nose and sense of smell, he targeted her scent and focused on it alone. It was a scent like the others he had smelled here, but yet, it was different. It pulled the male to it, trying to force the beast to arrive and show himself to the others. But he knew the rules and that was very much against them. He controlled himself, calming his heart, but his eyes did not move from her. The great hunter was on the hunt. He watched as she moved through the floods of people, Mora, Vampires, and Shifters. Very few Werewolves came here for some reason, it baffled him. But still he watched her, carefully. She ordered a drink from no other than his own Sylvana. The two seemed to smile at one another, perhaps they spoke of girl things with one another. Whatever it was, Lucian could not pin point their conversation from the rest of the room, the booming noises of the bass and the chatter of the mindless ones around them. Drunken slurs tried to force their way into his ear canal, but Lucian was able to block them out. He rested his back to the seat, watching as she was pulled closely by a Mora. He stayed where he sat, even though he knew that male probably needed to leave the establishment, but even in her dainty frame, she pushed him away. She handled her own affairs. This intrigued the male to an extent he did not think was possible. She was not a werewolf, she was a complete stranger, yet Lucian was drawn to her. He watched as she shoved him off and pulled another male closer to her, he was rather strong and well built. But no matter how his body was, he were in no way the shape of Lucian or could match the power or intensity. The human was just a mortal after all. He had nothing special to offer the beautiful goddess before him. As they danced, he was soon rejoined with his trusty Kitsune. ”Who is the female you were helping? What drink did she order?”

His eyes stared into her bright orbs, wishing for the answers to her questions. ”On second thought, get her the same drink she got from you, and place it on my tab. When she asks who it was from, I want you to giggle and leave, telling her it was a male who is highly interested in her.” Sylvana smiled to the werewolf and nodded her head, ”as you wish Lucian!” She quickly moved from his side and rushed to the bar. Mixing up the drink she had asked for before, making it perfect to a T, she poured it into the glass. Moving through the crowd, the dancing and moving about, she lightly tapped on the shoulder of the beautiful girl. ”This is for you ma’am, a very generous gentleman got it for you.” With a soft giggle, she fled back to her place at the bar, helping other customers. Lucian had watched the whole exchange, smiling as he sipped from his beverage and watched patiently. If he needed to present himself to her, he would. But for now, the agile hunter would stalk his prey, his newest conquest.

[[ I passed out somewhere in the center and woke up with this huge damn thing. ]]

So many smells were sensed within the crowded room, bodies, people, creatures, living things dancing about and drinking colorful alcoholic beverages, talking, being, well normal. Humane what some would call it as. This was so out of her element, she was naturally a tiger, but was also human, in a way. Even after almost four hundred years, she still hadn't gotten used to the whole 'human' thing. She enjoyed being a tiger, to run for hours without stopping and exploring alone, maybe a friend if one was willing to accompany here on some trips. Doing these activities was a great thing for her, sometimes a little head spinning, but, nice to do when the mind is bored and needs a repair or the thought to get away. Eden was adventuring her options, expanding her horizons and mind by being more active in the human realm than stuck in her territories, if only she knew where that werewolf was. As the human kept her in balance as she wondered secretly, ghost dancing she called it, when she wasn't there, but moving at the same time. It was a way to multitask in the shop, a technique she had whipped up whenever she'd fall into her daydreams and automatically type out the story without noticing, then come to open her eyes and return to reality, a fifty paged short story would be revealed before her. Eden claimed herself as a ghoster, a term she picked up and named herself to be since she held that talent to a key. She could be doing two things at once, but never realizing it until she broke away from wherever her mind led to. She loved it, for it made her life similar with specifics of becoming a leader of such a rapidly growing race, if only some would understand her position of being in charge of Shifters...

See what most don't understand is, in most clans of shifters, as in, different types, both feline, canines, carnivores, omnivores or even both, is that, she's in charge of all of them, keeping them in balance so they wouldn't fight and serve to protect like they prove themselves to do when she would first meet them. As her Bellators, she expects the greatest out of them, though Dak wasn't the worse of her worries, it was neighboring threats that phased her to be uncomfortable. There were leaders who strived to start wars, some that wished peace and change their ways to become greater allies, and then... there are the careless groups. People or, creatures whatever they may be always reckless of their choices in life and choose not to do what they are expected of. She sighed, sweat embedding her lean body as she grind her hips closely to his waist, spinning around in a dip to arch her back to meet his hazel mortal gaze. Just as he was about to pull a move by lowering his hand to land on her ass, a similar, friendly voice rang behind her, "This is for you ma'am, a very generous gentlemen got it for you." Slowly, Eden turned to face her, blinking once and raising her brows as she took the kind offer from her hands, the same drink she had before. So she was being watched, the question was, by whom? She smiled at the Kitsune she had met before, "May I ask where I can find this lovely man you speak of, or whom he is?" Before she could receive and answer, all the woman did was give a cute giggle and stride away without a word. The human male stared at the tail blankly, from what she believed he was thinking that it was a 'costume' but she knew what it really was. Eden was about to leave her position to go after the woman and ask again to see if she hadn't heard her, but she remained in the man's arms, eyeing the room once more. Keeping herself to dance with the human once again, she used her peripheral vision to look at her surroundings, being blocked by neighboring partners and a couple men that watched her move. Creeps, was all she could think. Usually if she were the one dancing alone, she'd make them work for it, this man however, was just a way to get away from the drunken Neko. She knew she was using him, but it a way, she sorta liked it, giving a short smirk as she felt his hips press closer to hers. Seeing the technique was failing, she started to make it look like she was looking to the sides of her body or whip her hair however what she was really doing was trying to catch a glance to someone watching her closely, but from a far.

There were many eyes on her, a bit of being insecurity pained in her head, keeping quiet as she turned around and held the man's neck. Looking around, she spoke to the male human to keep things from being too awkward, "Apologies for being so forwards, the name's Eden, you?" She spoke over the music, loud enough for him to hear, but easily faint so none of the rest could eavesdrop. There was a werewolf and more shifters she hadn't met around here, if they wanted, they had the ability to listen in on personal conversations as they pleased, whether the people enjoyed it or not. The male chuckled softly into her ear as he rocked his hips to the music, taking her hand and spinning her around into his arms, "Its no prob, just a little surprised someone pretty enough, and strong could or would want to dance with a kid like me. How old are you, twenty... twenty-two?" He breathed down her neck, replying in a charming, low-tone towards her as she glanced around the room, catching the eyes of many, but only looking for one that would really want her. Judging from the movies, it was always a wealthy man, keeping to himself in the background until she would fight to find him. If only she was pointed into the right direction, she smirked, "Something like that..." Eden slowly spotted a man sitting in a corner of the room, lit by dim lighting, an emerald gaze staring directly at her and she figured her was the one. Targeting his scent through the mist of smells, it was like her questions were answered, he was the werewolf, the one she smelt earlier but could not decipher direction. A she slowly peeled herself away from the man, she slipped a small card into his back pocket, winking as she took a sip of her new drink and mouthing the words, 'Call me' to him. He lazily saluted to her with two fingers and the same charming smile as before, turning away as a hipster, fun brunette bounced closely to his side. Without another word, she slowly lingered towards the edge of the dance floor, never loosing his gaze unless he'd look away, studying him to the fullest. As she came closer, his scent became intoxicating, a slight pinch of cologne to cover his body as he sat comfortably on the furniture. Clicking her bright yellow heels further, a small smirk rose to the side of her face, holding the glass elegantly in her palm, "Are you the one who is claimed the 'very generous gentleman' that gave me this satisfying drink...or have I mistaken for another?" Raising the glass to her plump, pale and glossy lips, she poured a bit down her throat, step by step moving closer to sit on the armrest of the chair, "I'm Eden White, and you are...?"

Emerald orbs of passion and interest watched over the female, watching as she moved about the dance floor. His eyes made notice of the males eying her form, her figure. Sipping from his drink he soon found he had almost finished it. He would need the Kitsune once more, but for now his focus was not on the alcohol flushing through his body, nor the sweet taste upon his lips. His eyes demanded they get all the attention, the powers the wolf leader had. But it would not be long for her to grace him with her presence. She was a gorgeous thing, even more attractive at a closer distance. Her scent drew closer, his nose taking in it all as if he would never be able to smell her again. He looked over her clothes, analyzing her figure. She was athletic, he could tell. The beautiful woman finally spoke to him, hinting to him being the exact words he had told Sylvana. What a good pet she was. Smart and sexy, a great listener and willing to please. If Lucian had not been so caught up with the mystery woman before him, he might have actually done something more with Sylvana. The mystery in itself would no longer hold it's power over him, as she shared her name with him. Eden White. So fitting and beautiful. She did appear to be like the old book had once stated, a place untouched by the evil of man. How he wished that in itself were true, despite the fact he had found himself rendezvousing with many females in his years. None had the same effects as Claire and before Eden, it seemed none ever would.

Giving her a soft smile, he placed his drink down, lifting his arms to his sides, and resting them on the back of the bench. "Why yes, that gentleman you seek is none other than myself. I do apologize if I have intruded or interrupted your fun upon the dance floor, but I could not see a beautiful woman as yourself go without a drink to quench her thirst. Surely it must be exhausting having to fight against the crowd and dance as they do." His voice was soft enough for her ears only and soon they were joined by Sylvana, with a fresh drink for Lucian. She grabbed the empty glass, replacing it with a fresh jack and coke. As she went to leave them to their private conversation, she smiled up at Eden. She placed her front teeth on the plump lower lip and bit down softly. With a slight skip, she moved to the rush of the crowd and vanished from their sight. Lucian had picked up his glass during their exchange, not paying attention to the eyes of the females. Instead he took the time to look over Eden more intensely. She was a woman of character, one he would love to be closer to, much closer. Even if it were only for the night.

"My name is Lucian Cassius Silviu. I am Alpha male of the Werewolves, but since you are not human, I figured you would already know. So what are you? If you don't mind me asking.." he asked gently, patting the seat beside him. His left hand held his beverage, bringing the glass to his own lips. "Have you been here long? I am intrigued by you and wish to know more of you and from you." It had been a long time since he was drenched in intimate conversation with a female, but if she had preferred to dance, fueling their carnal needs, then he would be more than willing to oblige her. After all, who was he to turn down the request of a woman? His eyes smoldered as they stared into hers, waiting for her reply.

[[ Kinda short, sorry. :(( ]]

The constant pounding in her ears sounded like the drumming of her own heartbeat within them, her own belief to be that it really was her pulse that she was hearing on her own. Lavender Lounge's music was not helping her case, her heightened tiger sense of hearing only making it worse at how loud it was. Eden tried tuning it out so she would only here him though, focusing her attention the charming and seducing man before that she wished to know more about, a shake to her head at his way of apologizing. She laughed softly, "Please, there are no need for apologizing here, for I am actually thankful of it fortunately happening. I'm not much for the dancing type, or party if we're being honest here. This is actually the most I've done in about a few months. Been hectic at work and all, keeps me away from what I could be doing at such a young age, wouldn't you agree? And thank you for the compliment, I don't usually get that everyday by a dashing man like yourself anymore." Eden replied, smoothing over her small black vest with her hand, fiddling with the straw of her drink to rest between her lips as her eyes caught the Kitsune's white smile. The way she acted was so cheery, annoying almost, but a sense of sexy behind it, if that were even possible. Being a shifter, she whispered words into the one's mind, finding it useless as their body language was doing enough to not even need the set of words or thoughts to know what they were both thinking. She winked slyly to the fox, grinning back before glancing to Lucian for a watching reaction. The tigress turned her attention to watch the bartender Mora sashay back to her position, disappearing to who knows where, leaving her curious as to know where that place was exactly.

Looking away for a change, she met the eyes of the werewolf, sensing the change of power and control behind them to something much stronger than she had ever encountered. Her brows rose slightly at his words, finding out that he was not just a werewolf, he was the werewolf. The original, much like herself, only she was the second generation of shifters to be breed perfectly fine. And both are leaders. Perfect, something they could both relate with, but it was what he was that almost sent her on the edge of alert. Werewolves had never had a personal liking into her race, but she had never minded the werewolves for they did not scare her, not at all even. Eden looked to the seat next to him, shrugging off the potential alertness in her behavior to sit at his side. Crossing her legs in a neatly behaved and classy manner, she gave a last sip of her drink before returning his words and questions, putting down the drink and holding out a delicate human hand with sharpened claws, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Lucian Silviu, and may it be an honor to tell you that I am a leader myself. You are very much correct in that department, for I have been an act of evolution all my life. I am the Regina and or leader of the thriving race known as the shifters, a mere resemblance to the Werewolves, but lesser the pain of course from what I've heard. And if you know more of my race, then that makes it just ten times more easier to describe our similarities and differences, hm?" As she looked to him with shining blue eyes, she smiled softly, "I phase from a White Siberian Tigress into what you see before you, and from the time I sat at the bar, I knew for a fact there was a werewolf somewhere in the room, and honestly wanted to know where he or she was... Small world after all, huh?" The slightest shade of blush rose to her cheeks, but the Regina acted as if it were not there as her smile widened a bit more at his addition to the compliments in a simple question. "I'm all ears to what you have to ask. I have only been here for a mere hour I would believe, but sometimes time flies when we're having fun, depending on all who you spend it with." As she spoke, her head tilted slowly to the side as she rubbed a thumb over the stoned opal on the lid of her silver locket, smiling away at both where this conversation was leading and the fact she knew who the pictures of inside. If only she could see them one last time, even her brother...

Tantalizing. Her voice was like a sweet nectar he wished to devour more and more as she continued to speak. His ears drowned out the rest of the world, only focusing on her, while his nose was busy, searching the air for any clues of danger. He could not peel his eyes away from her even if he had wanted to. As she sat beside him, he found his right arm curl about her shoulders softly. His warm hand touched her skin, it was smooth and soft. Her temperature did not feel as hot as his, but it was much better than the chill of the Vampire touch. Quickly, he wiped away the thoughts of dead ones. Her aura once again took over him. He could not pull away or do anything else. He was warped around her. Taking a sip from his drink, he allowed the fluids to wash over his vocal cords, keeping them ripe and primed for conversation. There was more he wished to know of her, and he hoped he would learn much of it from conversation. "It strikes me as odd, that one as yourself does not get complimented. Do your follows not adore you? Surely something as gorgeous as you cannot even walk around the city within men swooning over you, flashing you looks, and wishing they were your man." Lucian smiled to her, his glistening teeth sparkled in the reflection of bouncing lights. He placed his drink down, and rested his hand to her lap gently. It was just inches above her knee, and it would stay there. Unless of course, she wished for it to move higher or off completely. But after so many years of being with Claire, he knew the signals and the scents. Female werewolves and shifters were very similar, more so that humans, vampires, and slightly more than Mora. It was the primal animal instinct that blossomed within them. They could control the scents that rippled from their bodies and could control how much.

"The pleasure is all mine. Regina of the Shifters. I had always wondered what your ranks were called in comparison to my own. Of course, I follow closely with the ways of the wild wolves. Alpha, Beta, Elite, such and so forth. So, I am curious, very curious of shifters. What other animals can your members shift into? Is it only one animal or multiple? I haven't really ever conversed with one of your kind before. I tend to stick to my own or what I know." As he had finished talking, Sylvana came back yet again. She was the perfect bartender and friend to Lucian. He looked up at her with a smile, "Sylvana, this is Eden and she is a shifter. Interesting huh?" Sylvana smiled and nodded her head. "It is a pleasure to meet you Eden. Is there anything else I can get for either of you?" Without speaking a word, Lucian picked up his glass once more and finished the contents. He handed her the glass and smiled to Eden, "whatever the lady wants, I shall drink it as well, and Sylvana, make sure they go on my tab." Sylvana looked to Eden, smiling at her, as she waited for her command. Her fox tail moved about her back, dancing to the beat of the music. Once Eden had told her what they would be having, she smiled and moved about her way back to the bar. When she was out of sight, he turned his eyes back to her. "Sylvana has been a good friend sin I could remember. I started coming here for research on other races, but all I mostly find are to be human or Mora. She was the first Kitsune I ever spoke to. She's always so happy and bright, it's hard not to like her." He smiled and looked over the crowd once more. "So what do you do outside of coming here and controlling the Shifter race?"

"Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it. You know, I just… do things." - The Joker

Eden laughed, shaking her head lightly again, "It's not that they don't do that, its just it never seems they would want to tell it to my face instead they just stop and stare as I move on through my way. I have a tendency to not stay in one place for a long time unless something has caught my eye, and in your case, its rather fortunate you still have my attention. But, its kinda hard since I find your race rather interesting as well as you think of mine. How I see it is, is that a lot of the men these days cannot gain the enough courage to stand up to a woman and tell her how beautiful she is anymore. It's strange to watch how much the world can alter before your eyes in just a decade, presuming you to be at most, what? Twenty times my age? That would mean you've seen far more changes than I would ever see if I'm correct, I'd love to hear what was like to live through it all," She relaxed a bit, to the slightest of her weight shifting in her seat as his hand moved towards her leg in a gentle, yet wanting way, leaning on him shortly as she smiled up into his emerald hues, "I've always wondered what it would be like to live through history, kinda have a love for the subject, let alone literature." How could she forget, her two favorite and utter most valuable subject to her that she came strongest in when comparing to education-wise? History had always been a win for her, taking great interest in all of the beginnings of the technology and weapons the humans had long before the Shifters were what they became, all the wars that had occurred because of disagreements in color or wealth. But, it most situations, that's how it always happens, even with the Humans against all other species, including a rare some of themselves.

She kept listening to Lucian, nodding along and looking to him when she was ready to answer, being cut off too short as the spunky blonde Kitsune once more came to their aid. It did indeed surprise her at how frequent she was in her delivers, for there were only one other Mora besides the Kitsune managing the bar. How does she do it? Eden smiled up at the Kitsune that was claimed to be called, Sylvana according to the Alpha, knowing that the two shared a small bond of friendliness to easily recognize, "The pleasure is all mine, Sylvana. As for something to drink, I am fine for the moment, but I'll have what he had instead, as will he have another, please." Eden would usually refuse the offer for someone else buying her a drink, but to heck with it, wasn't everyday she had something to keep her attention from fading into the black with her to leave instead. Her gaze returned to his, the burning sensation of heat that radiated off his body into her shoulder and somewhat of her leg beneath her ripped jeans. She had to bite back a growl at how comfortable he was at getting close to a female, but for some reason, she was enjoying the attention from such an admiring creature, both a beast and man in one, "Your ranks as I can see are fairly easy to understand since they have been around far longer than I have been alive, as for mine, the leaders, as in me, would be Regina or Rex, then as for Beta it would be an Auxiliary, Elite to Epror, Delta to Dux, Warriors to Bellators and so on. There are slight similarities now that I see them, but all share the same meaning of course. My race includes of almost all animals, from maybe even a tiger like me all along the food chain to a meaty cow. We come from everywhere, I originating from the forests of Brittany in France along with my parents whom were the two first Shifters brought into the world and the beginning of our race as well as my older brother, Darren, whom I know none about any more since I have no seen him since I was nineteen..." Eden's words faltered and trailed off as the sad memory of watching her brother drown his sorrows in alcohol, the intoxicating substance that drives the mind to want more until you can't see straight or can't even feel sometimes. She knew not if he was dead or alive at this point, but she never looses hope to think that somewhere, he is alright.

As the tigress fiddled with some of the loose threads of the holes in her jeans, she awaited the Kitsune's return, seeing her work behind the counter like before, putting the contents together with practiced fingers. Eden quickly gathered herself back up to speak again, leaving what all that behind in order to last a normal conversation without bringing up the past, "Well, I wouldn't say for starters that I am the wisest in the categories of the following, but I've come to know a lot about the Vampire's, as well as befriend only one that I know I could trust. Mora, however is iffie, I would say I know a moderate amount of them, but there has been so many rumors, its so confusing at all one time. I am not friends with any of them, and from what you probably saw, the Nekos are a bit too friendly when they're a bit tipsy. And humans?" Eden waved off her hand, rolling her eyes as she had felt herself grow bored by just saying the species's name, "I think I know too much about them. It's hard not to since they're always there." She preformed a cocked grin, eyeing him slowly as she found herself staring and blushing slightly to herself. Though as if her prayers had been answered, the fox-tailed girl with blonde curls came and gave them the drinks with the same smile as the other many trips. "Here ya go guys! If you two need anything, you know where I'll be." Sylvana winked at Eden and curled her tail to brush over her calves before leaving to her place behind the counter, being watched from the tigress's eyes of how cheerfully she handled her position, even with the wasted ones trying to get her to show off what she clearly was gifted with. As the Regina rolled back her shoulders, she sat straighter to crack her back, "I would love to spend my time here, but I'm not much of the type like I had said, being a tiger, it is my nature to stay in peaceful environments and out of the noisy areas. And as a warning, you're wasting your time about asking me what I do for a living. I'm a writer, actually. Fantasy, which isn't at all fantasy now that some of the humans now that we exist, but nonetheless, they are still the top most wanting types of books, and I love to write about fiction. A majority of them are of the paranormal state of life, ghosts and whatnot. I've always shared a love for that type of stuff... Hm.. How bout you?"

Lucian could take a hint, and he knew one when he heard it. This scene was a very complicated one to speak to another being in. He wished to hear her voice, and hers alone. It would be much easier than having to block the rest of the world out. She mentioned she enjoyed the paranormal. It was then that Lucian had remembered the haunted place in neutral grounds. He had heard about it months before but never really gotten a chance to explore it. Perhaps tonight would be the perfect night. He smiled to her and watched as the drinks were brought to them. He looked at the liquid in the glass, knowing full well it would take many more of those to do anything to him, he sighed and chugged it. Taking the liquid down his throat, he looked to Eden once more. "What do you say we blow this joint?" his tone was a bit humorous, but he was mostly serious. If he was going to get to know her, they could not be here. His eyes mulled over the crowd, spotting Sylvana and motioned for her to come to them. Quickly she moved through the crowd and made it to their table. "We are gonna go now, so just add the drinks to my bill and I shall pay it tomorrow, sound good?" With a soft nod, she grabbed the empty glasses and bounded back to the bar.

Lucian watched until he could see her no more, extending his hand, he looked to her with a smile. "Care to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?" He smiled to her and pulled her close once her hand rested within his. As they exited the booth, he walked behind her, still holding her hand as he protected her from the gazes of men, and their foolish gawks towards her. Opening the door for her, they stepped out into the night air. "I wish to show you something.." holding her hand he led her away from the lights of the city, away from the humans and other species. He would take her to a place he knew she would enjoy.
