Border Acceptance - Zyll Empty
PostSubject: Border Acceptance - Zyll   Border Acceptance - Zyll Icon_minitimeSun Sep 07, 2014 10:32 pm

As Zyll walked into the building she looked around, taking in the scenery. There was a receptionist near the front door. Zy walked to her, asking where the office was located, the area of which she had an appointment for. Once she got the directions, she started following them. As she was walking there, she started thinking about why she wanted to join the Military. She wanted to keep citizens safe, so that no child ever had to deal with what she did herself. Though Zyll still wasn't sure as to who or what killed her family, she was sure that it couldn't have been any human. She glanced around the halls as she passed, counting each door. Once she finally found the office, she walked in, sitting down in a chair that was in a waiting room. Zyll was wearing, at the moment, her black dress that was meant for formal meetings. On her feet were her black heels and she wore her dark, red hair in a tidy bun. Her green eyes glanced around as she observed what was in the room, soon glancing down at her feet. The emotions inside of her started to bubble up, thinking about her dead parents, but soon she shook her hands quickly, the emotions leaving her. Zy's face showed no emotion now as she looked around the room and then up at the ceiling.

Her thoughts soon drifted towards what they may have her do here, if they accept her. Get an apartment first, maybe. Uniforms, definitely. Then training, obviously. Though, she wasn't entirely sure if she needed much training. She was already good at fighting and following orders, but she'll go through the stages, just like anyone else. Zyll then looked down at her hands, which were both resting upon her lap. Her emotionless face showed nothing, though she felt a small longing inside. She wasn't sure what the longing feeling was for, but she hoped that being in the Military would fill whatever holes she has that she may or may not know about. She then looked up, watching the door. She wasn't looking forward to the meeting, she didn't like talking about herself, or talking in general. It was needed, though. To join. Zy was then kicked out of her thoughts by the noise of little 'pops', soon realizing that the noise was her knuckles cracking.

Notes: Apologies for sticking this in the other topic, I had not realized that I was needing my own.

Border Acceptance - Zyll Empty

All of the humans had seemed to be slipping from her grasp. The only two who remained, were Loch and Wesley. She trusted them above anyone else, and she adored them for it. Both of them had their attributes, their good things and bad things. If to be completely honest they were opposites. The General had spent a lot of time with both of them, though more intimately with Loch, than Wesley. Wes had been an adviser to her, someone she could confide in. But now it was even more so than not. She wandered around the office building, looking through files and grabbing the research papers she had been looking for. Once she made it to the file room, she grabbed the one on Vampires. It had been a favorite of hers, hearing the tales of other humans who had slaughtered them in cold blood, who worker their magically hands over them and slain the fools who wished to bring them harm. The monsters may have been seen as immortal, but they can bleed like a human or a werewolf. Meeting an untimely fate would be the only way to force their lives to end. As she walked back to the front office, she paused by the front door. She looked into the lobby and saw a young girl sitting there. Will she disappear too? Liara thought to herself. She took a deep sigh and opened the door. A smile was plastered against her feminine features and she stood in the doorway. "Zyll, is it? Sorry I was late, and now I will ask you to step into my office with me. We must have a chat before you are accepted into our ranks." She walked past the girl and opened the door leading to her office. When she was inside, she walked to the back of the room and sat at her desk, on top of it, facing the door. Her eyes watched as the girl entered after her. "Please close the door behind you." Her voice was calm and sweet, just as it always had been when she met new people. "So please, tell me about yourself. What are your skills? Why do you wish to join the Army?"

As Zyll stayed seated in the chair, she heard someone open walk towards the lobby and open the door."Zyll, is it? Sorry I was late, and now I will ask you to step into my office with me. We must have a chat before you are accepted into our ranks." said a woman, presumably General Liara. Zyll stood up and followed the General, walking into the office, her footsteps silent. "That is fine." Zy said, she was patient enough. "Please close the door behind you." she spoke again, with a sweetened voice. As Zyll closed the door, the woman spoke again."So please, tell me about yourself. What are your skills? Why do you wish to join the Army?" Zyll turned around to face General Liara, opening her mouth to speak. "I'm good at archery, fighting hand-to-hand, following orders, and a few other things like singing, cooking, acting. The reason I wish to join the Army is to keep citizens safe as well I can." she said, her voice hinting respect, though the rest was emotionless, like her face expression. Though, on the inside, she was slightly nervous, but she guessed that it would pass soon. She wasn't much of a talker and she hoped that this wouldn't take long, though she knew it would be longer than she would be comfortable with. She stepped away from the door, more towards the desk, but soon stopped. She hoped that she would make it into the Army, she really wanted to help. "I apologize if I don't talk much, it's not something I do often." Zy said, stating the truth. She rarely ever talked, especially about herself. "Though I will answer any questions you have about me the best I can." she added, standing still. She kept her expressionless face on, not sure what emotion to show, as she was not used to being with others. 'Maybe I should study psychology...' she thought, feeling as though that might help her understand others. She then observed the office with the corner of her eyes, not letting herself look away from the direction of the General.

She listened to her, sitting on the corner of her desk as she picked up her cup of coffee and took a sip from it. As she placed it back down, her eyes laid on the female before her. "So you say you are skilled in hand-to-hand and archery? What is your strong point? What are you much better at?" She told Liara a bunch of things that really didn't matter. Her other attributes would do nothing against the vampires, unless she tried to cook one to death, which made Liara think about for a few seconds longer than she should have. Her eyes stared at the girl, curious what she was doing here. "Have you ever killed anyone? Or a vampire, or even a Werewolf?" That was what she truly cared about. Her eyes stuck to the girl as she waited for a reply. She grabbed the files from her desk and showed some of the pages to her. They were images of vampires, recent and the past. They dressed just like the humans had, but the constant picture of Demetri stuck in the pile. He was everywhere. She looked to her desk, looking to Caleb and trying not to show any emotion. She handed her the file and spoke softly, "these people you see are vampires. They have been haunting our kind since before either of us were born. I have been hunting them and I will not stop until their leader is dead, Dominus Demetri."
