After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeWed Aug 13, 2014 12:11 am

Things were beginning to get a lot weirder around him lately. He did not completely understand why the Brigadier was so shocked by his discovery, but there was a likeness the end of their conversation once after being drug all the way up the hill to his cottage. He had never been in a kingdom before. If only he got to see more of it instead as Connor pulled him alone with a hand over his mouth. He kept babbling through it, no matter if he could or couldn't hear what he had to say. However, Nikolai didn't really fight the man either. He just let him do what he needed until they were at his comfort. Thankfully, he had released him to spill what all he knew, and at a guess, he thought they were on nice terms now. Kinda like brothers. He hoped so. For all he knew, he was just an only child for the most part of his life; and an orphan at most. They were all orphans now - the Mora, apparently. Their immortality demanded it somehow for them to live such dark pasts, which was depressing, but educational in the end. There were too many things he had taken in the beginning of his life, and many casualties along with those memories. Now that he had the one Neko on his side for common folk-family, he at least felt a lot more at home with the kingdom. His cottage wasn't the best, but it was in need of a bit of TLC. He could handle that now with the money he was making, both the bar-tending and the photographing on the side. This would grant him many benefits, Nikolai told himself. So far with what he was making a living off wasn't half bad actually; it was a lot better than his old homes, he admitted. It was almost... too easy.

Clutching a glass tightly in his hand, he cleaned it with a fresh rag which he usually had sitting to the side in the case of it being needed. He glanced to the bouncers to start guiding people out of the lavender colored room. In the meantime, someone had managed to turn down the music while he was cleaning off bottles, glasses, and fancier assorts of silverware to put back away into the cabinets below the bar-top. He wore a fedora with a red feather in it; all black, just like his jeans the fit cleanly at the end of his legs where his ankles were. With dark brown hair slicked back, he sported casually the bareness of his upper half, not a shirt found left in sight asides the skin on his abdomen and chest. Other than his hat, converse shoes and fedora, around his neck he wore a white tie. The black lights did the rest of the work in making it appear like it was the same color as the room around him - a bright lavender to match the lounge itself. His face was faintly painted with purple glow in the dark substances to resemble a skull rather than human features. It wasn't required for them to wear a uniform, but he liked to make an effort in standing out as he worked. It also caught a lot of attention, and more attention, meant bigger tips.

Looking around, he noticed some workers coming out of the back room with their bags on their shoulders, or some books in their hands. He didn't know how many students were on the staff, as he hadn't started that long ago, but he assumed that the Queen allowed such as long as they were of age. Some left, and some stayed for a drink or two. Either way, he didn't care. He was going to stay a bit longer. He did this a lot, actually, and he didn't necessarily think the Queen really cared, just as long as he was careful to lock up the place once he was done. The bouncer had left, leaving only the bartender and a small group of others alone. Nikolai paid no attention to the other workers and did what he needed before enjoying a glass to himself on one of the bar-seats. He relaxed happily against the bar and folded his forearms arms over one another so that they could be a nice pillow to rest his head on. Thumbing at the glass container filled of vodka and other alcohols, he looked through it to see lavender formed crystals. A smile formed at his lips. It twinkled in his stormy grey eyes peacefully as he found the image quite relieving to watch as he turned the glass between his finger tips.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeSat Aug 16, 2014 4:18 am

The map said one thing and yet the streets said another. She was lost in the city again of course. It was fitting that, after finding the Mora, she just had to go back to the labyrinth of streets and buildings. Her head was turned towards the street addresses when the wind picked up and the directions were blown right out of her hand. Haedyn turned to follow them, a thing she continued to do for a couple of city blocks before she realized where she was. The Lavender Lounge, the place of her new employment, stood just in front of her. The directions forgotten she walked into the joint and eyed the place. The sign had read “closed” but she was told to come after hours anyways. A few of the guys leaving took a second to give her a slow once-over and a look of appreciation before the headed out the door. It figured, she supposed, that out of anyone it would have to be her fellow employees that would hit on her at all times of the day. She’d recently changed her hair, the hot pink highlights now a fiery blue. Her hair had been loosely curled and fluffed, her bangs pinned back at a small bump. As always her eyes were lined with the blackest kohl but were followed by a rudy red lipstick she had begged and pleaded to borrow from Willow. Her shirt was a white button-up tucked into black high-waisted shorts. Like a safety blanket her arm warmers were there and laced up her forearms tightly. From her feet to her knees were black and white stockings, her converse slapping against the floor beneath her. She held the note from Willow in her hand, finding it odd to have a sister already.

What were the odds the Queen of the Mora would recognize her from her brother? Really they were slim to none, and yet she was already employed and allowed to do her tattoo thing on the side. Haedyn looked to the guys at the bar and decided that they didn’t look like much of a friendly bunch. Her emerald-gold eyes flicked down the bar to a guy in uniform, and she began walking towards him. As she approached him she tapped his shoulder and spoke. “Um excuse me.. Do you know where I could talk to the manager? Willow sent me and I kind of need to give him or her this note I guess.” Leaning against the bar she looked at the guy and decided that, for a guy, he was quite neat. Symmetrical at least, though she had a feeling he wasn’t always that way. She, on the other hand, had taken an extra five minutes to make sure she didn’t have more mascara on one eye than the other. Quietly she crossed her arms over her stomach and examined the tattoo on her forefinger, a lion she’d gotten done from a close friend. It was her only visible tattoo, though many would think tattoo artists were covered in their work. She wasn’t, and it drove her nuts that there was a lion on one finger but not the other. In frustration she put her hand down and eyed the guy once again. He was Mora, she smelled as much. But the staff were all Mora really, it was just a common fact. She wondered what he was and if he liked it because she really did not. Why she had to be so.. Fluffy.. She had no clue. But she was and yet he body was a slender map of curves and a petite size a lot of women became jealous over.

Quietly Haedyn turned to look at the lighting and found the setup to be.. well.. Lavender themed. She laughed beneath her breath and could imagine all the humans that came in and out, maybe some with hair like hers though she doubted it. The color got her dirty looks on the street and sometimes booted out of restaurants, though she suspected they just all hated blue. Her heart sped up in her chest when she saw the dance floor, her love of moving capturing her attention. Many nights partying were the good nights, but she was here to work now. There’d be no dancing with the humans or drinking until her shift was over, but first she had to know where to go. Her attention when back to the guy while she studied him, her nails tapping against her arm. It wasn’t an impatient stance but a rather interested one. He was very easy on the eyes, she’d give him that. She thought his uniform was a bit unusual but hey, who was she to judge? Crossing her arms over her chest Haedyn looked to the guy and held out her hand. “I’m Haedyn, by the way. Who might you be?”

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeTue Aug 19, 2014 12:26 am

After scratching behind his ear, Nikolai shook his head and stretched out his arms. He could feel the hours just now beginning to wear him down as time passed, and the knots in his neck were getting worse. He rolled his eyes and rubbed the tender area, just above his clavicle line next to his bow-tie. As he sipped from his drink, he caught a sweet sniff of a neighboring Inu add to the others. He didn't take much effort in looking for whomever it was, but the smell was female, and that was all that he needed for him to look the other way. There were no restrictions against having their ears out, for the Mora that is, but he had not heard much about tails. He wondered how much of a hassle his would be for it being so long and thin, let alone very disruptive and distracting. Putting down the class, now that he was finished, he turned just in time to find a lass staring at him; observing him, he supposed. She must've been the new smell he found lurking about. He had been warned of a newbie coming in, but the fact she was late made him concerned for her position. Nikolai tilted his head, then dismissed it all together. He was used to being stared at, but he would never admit aloud his uncomfortable feelings about it when it lasted for longer moments at a time. He swallowed hard and ignored it soon after. Hopefully this would distract him from looking over at the pretty blonde across the room. If conversation were to come up, he'd only make a great fool out of himself.

Only to realize, is that she walked up behind him to stand on the other side of the bar and ask for his assistance. Shoot. Closing his eyes tight, he sighed and turned around to face the girl again. He slowly reopened his stormy grey eyes to fixate upon her attire and hair color. "The manager isn't in today, but I can leave the note in his office if you'd like." The great dane Inu held out his hand. His gaze lingered irresponsibly over her body and then back up to her actual face. Not a hair was out of place, nor a wrinkle was found. This woman was tidy, and most likely very organized, if not obsessively clean with herself and where she handled her works. Perhaps opposites attract, he smirked. She seemed to find something more interesting with the rest. Nikolai didn't care so much for that, however, nor would he want to. Finally, the tension in his neck had now done enough to get a rise out of him, only to let loose and spring his ears and tail from his head and lower back. He sighed. It felt so good... His eyes shot open to the woman holding out her hand. Her name was Haedyn. That's a pretty name. "That's pretty." His mind backfired, Gee, you're such a sap... Moron. Am not! Are to.. He blinked twice and ignored his thoughts for a moment to spare. Nikolai wasn't a man of hand-shakes, he hated sweaty palms of other people. He looked her straight in the eyes, following his hands to find a bag of M&M's he had stored under the counter. "I go by a lot of things.." Nik said. "But I prefer your future husband." The herald inu smiled with his cheeks full of the chocolates. His black and white tail behind him wagged quickly in happiness, "I'm Nikolai McCall, Herald of the Mora. Miss Willow said you'd be coming in today, but it's too late to show-ya the ropes." His head nodded to the people leaving and waving to their peers as they split directions outside, along with the bouncer that had a huge arm around a young pretty little thing at his side. He envied that man right now, "Stay a while. We can discuss what you'll be doing and work on the actual stuff tomorrow when doors open, test your training and stuff. You'know." He blurted, then putting the bag of candy on the bartop to share. "Want some?" he said with a chocolatey grin.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeTue Aug 19, 2014 11:00 pm

To say she wasn’t intrigued by the man would be telling a lie, and yet she raised an eyebrow in question of herself. She’d stumbled through understanding his erratic social patterns and questioned his sanity once or twice in his talking. Haedyn heaved a sigh of disappointment at the manager not being present and she actually had considered leaving, but decided to stay and listen to this male a few moments more. He was a fellow Mora, after all, and as their new alchemist she was sure introducing herself to them all was quite necessary. Quietly she played with her arm warmers, only to blanch a pale color at him calling himself her husband. She hardly knew the guy but already he’d twisted her mind into so many knots she had no clue where to turn next. The inu wondered if he came with a GPS but supposed that he, unfortunately, did not. “Thank you and no, I’m afraid I’m going to have decline your proposal for the moment being.” Her mouth tilted up in the corner slightly as she took a seat next to him. For a second she paused and looked to his tail and ears, quite uncomfortable with keeping hers inside but too embarrassed to set them free. She’d gone months appearing human thinking she’d get used to it, but she didn’t. Haedyn wanted the freedom to let loose that day for some reason and Nikolai’s freedom was enough to motivate her to do so. As soon as she relaxed her tail was free and hanging as a mass of fluffy fur. Her ears curled at their tips, the long silky cur covering them with the same coat as her tail. Both were full of tan, white, and the undeniable gray/black coloring of the blue merle. Her delicate chin rested upon her palm as her eyes closed in relaxation before they opened once again and slid over to the inu male. He was speaking and she listened, only to reply with “Sure thing, but I must warn you I’ve never been a bartender before. Why it appealed to me now? I have no clue. I guess I’ll find out.” Eyeing the chocolate he offered for a moment, she took a handful and backhanded the candies gently into her mouth.

“Okay, so what will I be doing Captain Nik? Giving out drinks? Cleaning tables? Wow, I never thought I would ever come close to being a waitress.” She tapped the bar top with a finger, the lion tattooed upon it a gleaming predator of navy ink. The female would glance at Nik occasionally to make sure he knew she was paying attention, but when her eyes found the alcohol all bets were off. She wondered if they got drinks after hours or if Willow even permitted that. The Queen didn’t seem like much of a drinker but you never knew nowadays. Haedyn was a lover of margaritas and had once drank an entire glass the size of a fish bowl on a whim. She rimmed her glasses with sugar, not salt because in her opinion it was nasty. About then she was craving one dyed the color that matched her hair and felt a need for lots of tequila in it. When she got home she supposed she could make one, top of her nerves or something before settling down. When she realized her gaze on the drinks had turn longing was when she looked back to Nik and concentrated on him instead. On the counter her nails trailed perfect and patient circles across the surface.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeWed Oct 01, 2014 9:31 pm

He enjoyed the fact she had manners, most people these days did not share such kindness, so he kept this in mind as a positive thing. That, or perhaps she was just being nice because she was to be his right-hand soon enough if her skills succeeded. Nikolai freely allowed himself to watch her tail slowly spring out from behind her back. It was fluffy, but he couldn't specify exactly what type of Inu she truly was. He knew that she was an Inu due to her scent, and shape in tail. Unfortunately, he could not see her ears, which were partially hidden beneath her beautiful hair. They seemed to be a mix of colors, a majority to be a soft bluish grey and honey tan. Maybe she was a shepherd of some sort? A terrier of some sort, perhaps even? Nikolai watched as she moved into a comfortable position before finally moved closer to his side. He held his breath, for he would not so much as dare sniff her. She probably smelt good, most females did, he thought. She seemed to like M&M's too - another positive. "There's a first for everything. Personally, I like working here. I'm usually the last to leave, so it's nice when it's quiet and stuff. And working behind the bar can get you a lot of numbers." He said with a wink and flash of a white smile before continuing, "Even if you don't find it the easiest, I'm sure Willow will allow you a couple chances. She's a nice person and very forgiving, there ain't a lot of worrying to do around here either. Everyone's thankfully got their head on tight enough to work neatly together, despite our differences. Mora or not." Nikolai reassured, throwing the empty candy wrapper into the trash behind the bar and finishing the last of the dishes.

She asked him of what she would be doing, which he was more than happy to answer. Haedyn asked easy questions, he concluded. This made it easier for him to reply, as he was not very responsive to most and could only cling to small things and words. When he was in high school, he was promised to a lot of things such as a greater education and future with getting a scholarship thanks to his lacrosse. However, with his disorder, he was taken to rooms apart from his classmates, as he was too slow to keep up and had a lot of difficulty struggling to understand at normal learning speeds. "For now.. we can just relax and talk. Feel free to make yourself a drink or two." His eyes fixated passed her to see some people leaving, one or two of them were drunk, while the other seemed reasonably sober enough to drive as they smoked on their way out. "Willow's never said anything against us drinking once it's closing time, just as long as we don't take advantage of the supply. Most just whip something up and leave as soon as the party-goers vanish, meanwhile, I stay." The Inu confessed, averting his stormy eyes so that they delicately landed on her face. She was quite the extraordinary character, what with her mysterious canine and her color tipped hair, as well as sort of style. He also enjoyed the way she talked, leaving simple questions and nodding easily to what he had to say in return. "We don't wear uniforms, just as long as it consists of black mostly." He said, before looking to his lack of clothing and laughed, "Though I think being half-naked for males is an exception if it means more business.." Nikolai casually spoke while running his gaze over her figure and back up to her eyes slowly again. He quickly made himself a shot of tequila, hoping she wouldn't mind, and tipped it back into his mouth so it could quickly be swallowed. He exhaled slowly from his mouth and put the little glass down before taking a seat against the counter.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeTue Oct 14, 2014 10:46 pm

Shooting Nik a quick smile, she began to fiddle with the ties of her arm warmers. Damn leather for coming loose so quickly. Hmm.. Nik. She liked the name she decided, it was short yet slightly playful. Whether he liked it or not was a different story, and so she asked. “I know it’s completely off topic and of no value to the conversation, but may I call you Nik?” Haedyn’s eyes turned up towards him as he moved and she adjusted her position to face him. As he spoke she gave him her full attention, her ears perked forwards and flopped forwards at the tips. Bar tending couldn’t be that hard in all honestly; she could whip up drinks and be friendly when she desired. Not only that, she also now had a reason to wear her corsets. The multiple outfit options make her lips creep up in their corners. The mention of Willow gave her a warm feeling in her chest. Upon coming she had no intentions to become an adopted family member, but apparently it was on the agenda. They’d grown close over a few short days and Haedyn felt it was a huge part of her belonging. “Nonetheless, I will try my hardest I swear.” Placing her hand over her heart, she spoke sincerely before cracking a smile. “Though I do not guarantee to be completely a hardcore, no fun bartender. That would just ruin my vibes, and my vibes are pretty awesome.” Standing slightly, she reached over the bar and took a couple bottles from the shelves and whipped herself up a cocktail. It was experimental, but she found it tasted pretty good. Upon placing the bottles back she was careful to place them in their exact places, turning them as they were before.

Headyn sipped her drink and adjusted the salt and pepper shakers on the bar, placing them in the middle and exactly two inches apart. Things such as this bothered her severely. Hell, if bar tending didn’t work out she could clean the place from head to toe. Once she was satisfied of the shakers’ placement, she turned back to Nik and nodded to what he said. She liked the way he talked, the way his eyes focused on her despite possible distractions. It helped that he was some eye candy, she’d really have to be blind to not appreciate that. The inu took another drink and rested her chin in her palm, watching him speak with interest. Laughing at what he’d said, she waited to stop before she spoke. “I actually very relieved there aren’t any uniforms. As many tips as I might make being half naked, I think a little black dress will have to suffice. Would that be good enough?” She watched him look at her with a bit of confusion but was more focused on her outfits at hand. A few of her forest dresses would work, they flowed to just beneath her ass and couldn’t be worn in public anyways. Her knee-high socks were a must; they’d grown to be a comfort. The art of using her body wasn’t one she’d use often if at all, but if it brought in the tips she could learn pretty quick. In short progression after Nik did his shot she did her own, eyeing his body from the corner of her eye the way most girls did. After a few more shots she was feeling that warm almost buzz that she usually drank to. If she wasn’t going to make stupid decision, she had decided way early in the came that she was going to make it while being fully aware of the decision at hand. At that point she put her shot glass on the counter and didn’t touch it again, her green/gold eyes watching her companion. “So Nik, other than bar tending what do you like to do?” It was one of the easier topics of conversation that she decided to choose. If he was to become a coworker she might as well get to know him. On the other hand she was genuinely curious due to he fact that he truly did intrigue her. He brought nice company and, unlike the others who had done the same, Haedyn found herself quite content to be in it.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeTue Nov 04, 2014 12:02 am

When the playful, yet seemingly mysterious Inu female looked back at him and asked him a question concerning a smaller name, his brows rose as apart of his answer, "I don't mind at all, though usually if someone gives me a nickname, I have to think of one to call them in return. Give me a while as I think of one though, I'm slow," he partially joked, hiding the hint behind a charming white grin of teeth and glistening stormy hues. Sitting in his spot agains the counter, he watched as she spoke and nodded frequently after each statement which had rolled out of her pretty little mouth. He was glad to see that she was determined, and when speaking of the beloved Queen of their's, he notice a change in atmosphere towards her. She seemed warmer, more bonded with the Queen than he had already known, perhaps they had known each other beforehand, like he had, though not like such he predicted on his own accord. He laughed slightly at the joke she made, enjoying her sense of humor and company as more people fled the scene, leaving the lounge completely empty asides the two reminding bodies. He put a finger to his lips and looked up, pausing so that it was completely silence as a few footsteps walked down the hall to the exit. Once the sound of the doors shutting, he out his hand down and smiled, "Finally..." He exhaled, having the peace he had been looking for all night, which was now even better since Haedyn had arrived to his attention. Nikolai's eyes rolled over the woman as she made herself a drink, she didn't seem like a cocktail kind of lady, but he refused to let it be a surprise to his facial expression. He couldn't even count the many of times he had been wrong as to estimating one's interests, and most of the time it had gotten him in a lot of trouble in the past.

The Mora male was stopped shortly by another question, this one regarded her uniform. He looked over her body, some of the alcohol already taking a small buzz to his insides as he did so while imagining her in a tight dress. Nikolai felt no shame to come from it, though he could onto assume she was used to it, how could she not after all. He wondered if that was the hardest thing about being an attractive women, so many perverted stares and what not, it must be frustrating at times, disgusting at worst, he thought. "I think it would be just enough for me to bare seeing every day we work together without giving you a tip myself. You'll make quite a bit of money with that spitfire attitude of yours as well... Schedules will be posted every month depending on our availability, I will let you know in advance about when its going to up." The man added before fixing himself another shot, wanting to feel the rush of it course through his body soon. He had no intentions of getting himself in drunk in front of her, but the tequila alone was delicious in its own seductive way. He scratched his bare chest and thought over her next question as he put the, what is now empty, glass down. Ears perked and tail pressed against his back, he looked to her with a tilted grin, "I am.. an athletic photographer. I work for Spartan Athletics and help shoot for their icons that they want in their latest issue for magazines, as well as advertising for certain sports. Bartending is mostly a night job, keeps me occupied when I am not called out somewhere across Lunari." Nikolai tilted his head at the female with his own bit of curiosity. He moved closer until he was in front of her, hands placed on both sides so that they were holding the bartop. His brows rose confidently, and he held his breath from it reeking of alcohol in front of her face, "You?" he examined her for a small moment and then remembered what he was going to nickname her, smiling broadly while clapping his hands softly together, "I shall call you, Gizmo." Nikolai said happily, only to then celebrate with his third shot.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeThu Nov 06, 2014 11:14 am

The green and gold blended hues she called her own looked to him quizzically from across the small space between them. Nothing else in the bar really interested her enough to take her attention off of him. He was interesting; the rest could wait. She took a shot glass from the counter, her eyes unwavering, and took the tequila bottle to pour herself a shot. She knocked it back quickly and slammed the glass back down onto the table as the liquid burned down her throat. Her cocktail had been too weak in her opinion, so a shot was in order. Haedyn listened to the sound of her newest name coming from his lips, to which her ears perked and her head tilted automatically. The inu couldn’t say the nickname didn’t fit her, is was fun and playful enough. After another shot she nodded and spoke. “I like Gizmo but, if you don’t mind me asking, why did you choose that?” The male interested her; and it wasn’t only because of his body. More than once in a simple matter of minutes Haedyn had caught herself staring at the washboard planes of her stomach. She kind of wanted to touch them just to see what they felt like over what appeared to be his silky smooth skin. He had that boy-on-the-cusp-of-man thing going on, but she knew he was all man.  His looks were coming more apparent to her the more buzzed she got, so after one more shot she cut herself off. “No more for me, I’m tipsy enough as it is,” she said while pushing the glass back towards him. It took a while for her to notice that the people within the club had slowly dwindled in numbers until it was simply the two there. His mentions of her uniform made the fair pallor of her cheeks become pink as she looked at her hands. She couldn’t help but laugh as he mentioned her attitude because it was true enough. “Touche, though we might just have to tip each other. I know I’ll probably be sliding some bills into your pocket, because if you were a transformer you’d be Optimus Fine.” Haedyn waggled her eyebrows at him playfully and laughed softly. She had to do it, it was too hard to resist. Haedyn had been wanting to use that one for a while, and it appeared she’d found the perfect moment.

Mischievously she smiled and lifted herself to sit cross-legged on the counter. “I’m sorry, but I’ve always wanted to do this.” Her words came with a slight slur but her mind was fairly clear as her fingers drummed against her sock-clad knees. Her finger smoothed out the rumples until they were perfectly straight lines again. As he spoke she noted that he was a photographer and one for sports. To this, she had to smile. “I’m not sure about sports, but I’m a huge supporter of baseball and football pants,” she giggled slightly to herself and was quiet once more. It had honestly not occurred to her to voice exactly what she did until the conversation had dwindled into silence. “I believe we both fancy the arts. Like literally, because I’m a tattoo artist. This job will be a nice way to get more cash though, I like to be able to have fun on the job.” Haedyn grinned as she thought of her calling, all those designs she loved to create so much. She had to admit that she loved when girls came in nervously with their girlfriends and asked for butterflies and whatnot; those were so amateur. The alchemist had almost gotten fired for supposedly inflicting too much pain on a girl, but it was her fault for asking to have a celtic wings on her feet. Those take time and endurance to heal, two things of which the human apparently did not have. Looking at Nik once more she nodded to him. “Thanks for all this by the way. You really know how to roll out the welcome wagon. You’ve made the world record of getting info out of me, I usually stop people at ‘what is your name’.” Haedyn wasn’t one for sincerities, but from the tone in her voice it was easy enough to tell she was serious. It was a rather large feat for her; expressing anything through words wasn’t her best skill. It helped that Nik was more laid-back than most. It made him easy to talk to and, within that short time, she’d felt comfortable enough around him. Early on she’d concluded that she liked this guy, but she found it easier to be around men in general anyways. She felt later on he’d be a simple comfort; he really was already one anyways.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeSat Nov 15, 2014 10:58 am

The Inu ignored the first question to answer the second thing she said once after pushing the alcohol away. He smirked, which then climaxed into a bewildered chuckle as he kept his hands still on both sides of her against the bartop. They slowly then moved closer to her legs, but he stopped short of an inch, only for his wrists to gently graze her skin at the most, "Ah.. come'on ya' whimp. Have just ooonnnee more.." He pleaded foolishly, his tone playful, but slurred with that of the alcohol finally kicking into his blood stream. Smiling mischievously, he made herself a shot, as well as himself, this being his forth one down. Batting his lashes in a mock-like manner, Nikolai looked to her with a begging set of doggish eyes, "Prettyyy please with a meaty-stick on tooppp?" He wavered the tiny glass in front of her, his balance shaking slightly to what then made some of it spill onto her hand. As he looked to the measly few drops, he shrugged, and thought it would be a waste if he were to let it just sit there. "Well shit.. Five second rule!" Blindly, he leaned over and sipped it off her skin, and stood back up to resume his little fit of persuasion. Again, his flimsy grin still stayed constant amongst his facial features as he put the glass in her hands, almost forcing her to take it. Tipping back his forth, he choked, but quickly recovered with an obnoxious burp, covering his mouth in doing so despite the intoxication. "I named you Gizmo 'cause ya'look lika' Gizmo to mee.. You kinda remind me of the little fuzzy demon thingies I saw on a movie once... It's ubbberrr old though... But the little dude was cute - and you're cute.. I just think it fits." At this rate, all he could do was exaggerate his words and hope for the best she understood each one. It was beginning to get quite hard for him to speak the more time passed, and he was afraid to see what all out of him she could hear by the night was over. Now was apparently a time for him to party, even if the club was bare and empty, no music acquiring in the background, Nikolai still felt the need that there was a time for everything. "If I'mmm Optimus Fine, then you are.. one hot-o-bot." Even for it being a pick-up line, he was being honest behind his drunkenness.

As she mentioned something of being a tattoo artist, Nikolai's eyes shot up and he tilted her head, practically leaning so close to her that his hardened stomach was against her crossed legs. He didn't understand that about himself when he got drunk; he always found everyone to be quite beautiful during those times, and he tended to feel the need to be rather close and personal with them within those moments, unfortunately. "I have two tattoos.. One on my back, and then one right here on my arm." Lifting up his left arm, he flexed slightly to show off the dream-catcher against his bicep, looking at it himself to see if it was in need of a touch-up, which it did, actually. "I got it because of a band I liked a while back, they aren't as popular anymore though since times have changed.. I'm still curious if the paparazzi was right about the lead singer becoming a vampire and turned all the rest of his mates into one as well.. Or they became food." He shrugged, not really knowing the preliminaries behind the vamperism in general, but granting some information he knew, at least that is. Turning so his back faced her, Nikolai moved slightly close enough so that his back was pressed against her legs, hoping that the lighting was not so much as dark as he thought it to be. At least then with how close he was, she could see it. It was an angelic ruin, with the meaning fearless. He had gotten it at a young age before becoming an adult with the permission of his godparents at the time. It was a way of showing him that no matter what, he would be brave in the scary world ahead of him, even without his real family at his side. She seemed like the type to know what it meant, so he didn't say anything. It was until she thanked him did he look up, looking at her reflection in the containers of alcohol and winery bottles in front of him. His brows furrowed slightly, but he did not question the woman's loner-like personality, he understood it, actually. But in another sense, he didn't. Either way, he nodded quietly and smiled to himself, "No problemo, Miss Haedyn." Nikolai said goofily with a lazy salute before rotating back around to look at her. She was an extraordinary character to have met, and he looked forwards to working with her soon. As for now, the only request he had was to hug her, but he knew that would be tough to get passed. His drunkenness made a degree to those wants and tripped him easily into kissing her. Nikolai didn't mean it, but alcohol had it's own language, and the want to hug was now the want for deeper things. He showed his thanks by planting a firm kiss to her lips, slowly to then hold her face before pulling away at his own risk.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeTue Dec 09, 2014 3:13 pm

Haedyn laughed and took the glass he offered her, tipping it back to pour the contents into her mouth. Perviously she’d watched him drink off of her hand, finding it funny a she giggled. She fell from tipsy to drunk but, not nearly drunk enough. Since she was sitting, her unbalance wasn’t as obvious as his. At one point Haedyn was sure that she was holding him up but didn’t care; It wasn’t hard to enjoy that hard muscle against her hands. Her smile was wide and her eyes were bright with the smallest bit of intoxication. The inu’s cheeks were flushed and red because of this, the blue in her hair and parlor of her skin making her look somewhat patriotic. Things moved slowly from then on, time between the both of them was really nonexistent. She was laughing more in the distance of one night than she had in the year. It helped that he was sweet on her, but not in that overly flirtatious way. Placing her glass down, she listened to him relate her to a fuzzy demon. “Well thank you for telling me I look like a fuzzy demon, no matter how cute you find me,” she said sarcastically. For her final drink she got a Guinness out of the bar fridge beside her, thinking that if she was going to be nearly drunk she might as well fall down the rabbit hole. She took a sip and offered him some before speaking, her words slurring along with him. “Weeelll, tha name does fit I guesss.. I’ll take it!” She laughed and took another sip. Haedyn watched him sway and placed her hands firmly on his shoulders, keeping them there because she’d forgotten about them in all honesty. She kind of wanted to dance but then again didn’t.. Her drunken mind really had no clue. She simply knew that there was him, there was her, and they’d bonded well over the few hours. The inu could imagine them being the team, serving and making drinks in sync while raking tips in as they did so. She looked him over and was sure she would’ve given him a tip, but there was something wrong. “Duude, serrously…. It’s like yur photoshooped!” Heading poked his stomach and laughed. “Eat a twinkie or somethin,” she slurred and finished off her beer.

Nik calling her a ‘hot-o-bot’ finally broke her, head forehead resting on his shoulder as she laughed. Her shoulders shook and her lips peeled back from her teeth in that beautiful smile women have as they laugh. The alchemist nearly started crying, she was laughing so hard. When she finally managed to calm herself, she straightened and listened to him talk about his tattoos. She sobered up a bit to furrow her brow in concentration and examine his tattoos. The dreamcatcher needed a touch-up, she took note of that. She would’ve offered to do it that moment except for the fact that she had neither her utensils or a sober mind. When he turned she raised a brow as her eyes worked to concentrate on the tattoo that rested on his back. “Oh, this one’s cool,” she said. Haedyn traced her fingers over the tattoo as lightly as possible; the meaning behind it brought back memories. She swallowed them down like too many saltine crackers in her mouth. Her mood when dry and tender in the raw pain of it. She’d been wanting to get something similar for herself, but she didn’t want to be asked about it. In silent understanding she didn’t dare ask what his meant. She leaned back from him and crossed her arms over her stomach, blinking back drunken tears due to her state leaving her overemotional. As he turned she figured he was going in for a hug, but when his lips met hers she partially gasped. Unsure of what to do, Haedyn let herself get lost in the black bliss of kissing another person. Her hands rested on his arms and accepted it when he pulled away. She felt him holding her face and her eyes turned up towards his, biting her lip and unsure of what to do.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeWed Dec 10, 2014 11:19 pm

His breath reeked of alcohol, but his mind did not so far as allow him to think of that in this moment. Dark, grey eyes, as wild as the beautiful western storms above a beloved, empty prairie, stared right into hers, admiring their beauty to what was altered upon his thoughts to make her seem as the only one he would wish to kiss more. These feelings were a biological reaction to which triggered his hormones, and the alcohol effecting them both made those systems unbalanced in order to control both his mind and body to listen. He could feel his balance sway and bring him closer so that their mouths were only a centimeter in difference. The smells of her warm breath radiated onto his very lips and into his nose, and the internal desire and want to ravage her grew to extremely dangerous heights. As a bartender, he usually maintained a small amount of alcohol, for he knew such things caused him to feel desperate for both attention and affection. Unfortunately, his card had never been in his favour amongst the deck of destinies, and it seemed that the joker was now in his hands to play with his fiddled, drunk mind into something far from what he would've thought when sober. The biting of her lip and the glossy hues to which bore into him made those feelings intensify, and pushed him at the throat of all evil in kissing her as passionately as his drunken mind could possess. He was slow, and gentle, as his movements could only bring himself to such speeds as well as maintain a steady balance enough to stand up. Hips closing the gap between them, he pressed his softly to hers, and his strong hands held her face closely as he tilted his head to her lips. It was whether or not she sober up enough to push him away, as he would never find himself to force anything upon a woman unless she had allowed him to, first. Soon, his touch lingered from her face to the curves of her neck and soon the ends of her dip-dyed hair, which seemed to be even more blue than he had remembered when sober. He lowered his face to kiss the flesh upon her neck and smell the scent which devoured her and her lovely soft lochs against his cheek.

A small groan rumbled within him, a sweet mumble of joy vibrating into his mouth as he smelt her hair and cradled her hips as gently as he could while drunk. "Gizzy-mo smells so goood..." He lifted his head lazily and smiled whimsically at her before pressing his waist a bit tighter towards her and kissing her lips again. His teeth grazed atop her bottom, plumper lip, taking it into hold and seductively tugging it back before going in for more. Involuntary, his hands squeezed her sides and soon rounded back to grab her rear. It felt good to touch her while his senses were heightened, and every scent, image and touch to which he beheld was like an untold reality. He couldn't remember as to how many shots he took, but what he did know is that it was a nice place to where the alcohol had led him. This woman, who was becoming blurry to him while her hair remained a more vivid blue, seemed like the perfect fit for his canine-like senses to kick in. But, as strong and sweet as he normally was, the drunken, sinful hands of his moved upwards from her beloved rear to where her shirt hem rested. He slid them under, caressing over her stomach and feeling his way slowly, but surely, to her wondrous breasts. Nikolai remained smiling as he went in and nipped along her neck, lazily making the effort to growl in her ear in slow pauses while his balance stayed as solid as humanly possible. His tail whipped back and forth a mile a minute, and he couldn't allow it to stop no longer.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeFri Dec 12, 2014 7:06 pm

Tension hung in the air, enough for her to feel it creeping beneath her skin and into her bones. It coiled low in her belly and made the hair of her arms stand slightly higher on their ends. She breathed deeply, slowly, as she stared up in wonder at Nikolai. Her eyes were wide, questioning through their thick haze. Heading found it hard not to look; in this lighting he was just looking more and more attractive. She tried to speak but found her tongue would not make words, so she remained silent until she could remember this basic skill. Why she’d come there in the first place was no longer on her mind, she just wanted to touch him. Stretching her fingers, she splayed them out over his bicep to feel the muscle beneath her fingers. Unsure of where this was going, she didn’t move any closer. Her mind had somewhat sobered to know what was going on, but she didn't have any desire to stop it. She remained still as he stepped into the space between her knees, arching her back towards him as their hips touched. The inu liked him where he was, her legs closing around his waist slightly just to keep him there.   Heat flowed from his waves and touched her skin, flushing her cheeks more. The gentle puffs of their breath mingled in the air, becoming a single unit of carbon dioxide as it spread through the air. Haedyn flicked her eyes down to his lips then back up. A flash of hot and cold moved through her body, attentive towards everywhere he touched her. Suddenly he was tilting his head down to her lips and her hand was on the back of his neck to urge him to do so. Like a flower curling up towards the sun she rose up towards him, twining her arms around his neck as their lips connected. A tiny moan rose from her vocal cords and passed from her lips for the sound to reverberate between them. It was hard to remember the last time she’d had another person this close let alone have their lips on her own. Her fingers toyed with the hair on the back of his neck and her eyes drifted shut. Kissing him wasn’t like sipping a fresh glass of lemonade or falling into a black and blissful abyss. No, it was like playing a very seductive game where she had no choice but to play.

His groan made her giggle, smiling lips against his until she kissed him once again. Haedyn tilted her head and pressed her lips more firmly against his. Her legs wrapped around his hips as she pressed her small frame against him. Nothing told her that she’d regret this, her body responding to what he did. A small growl bubbled in the back of her throat as her hand slipped down his shoulder and onto his chest, gently feeling and raking her nails over his skin. That hand slipped down further to feel his abdomen like she’d wanted to only a matter of minutes ago. She felt soft skin over tight, beautiful muscle as she smirked against his mouth. Her lip was between his teeth until he freed it again. The small move drove her a little wild, her lips parting against his mouth as her tongue toyed with the seam of his lips. The alchemist slid her fingers over the V of his hips and up his back, shuddering delightedly as his hands gripped her rear. Her lips left his as she kissed his jawline, nipping and kissing along the definition of bone. She saw a redness of light through her eyelids as her lips left his skin to gasp and moan softly into his ear as she felt his hands upon her breasts. Haedyn’s fingers hooked into the loops of his belt, pulling him closer against her while her knees pressed against his sides. At his proximity she trembled and wanted more, her fingers dipping and curving around every inch of skin she could reach.

After Hours [Haedyn] Empty
PostSubject: Re: After Hours [Haedyn]   After Hours [Haedyn] Icon_minitimeSat Dec 13, 2014 12:54 am

This shall be continued, just wrappin' this up for us. c:

Like oxygen to a fire, the need of his arousal grew in capacity the longer her breath breathed into his own, the horrid smells only concocting what was believed to be that of lust and selfish desires upon one another. He shuddered, the goosebumps that had been hidden now erected from his sun-kissed flesh and spread alongside his arms and shoulders, sending an electric-like shock up his spine. Nikolai could not help himself but to groan as his lips were pried upon her own doing, as he, himself, was helpless beneath her command by the littlest of touch simultaneously descending his abdomen. Thoughts of how wrong it was to be doing such a thing, however, did cross his mind, but it never stayed long enough to scratch the surface of his intoxicated, unflinching decisions. His hands remained settled where they were upon her lovely and soft mounds beneath her shirt, slightly groping at them as the need to see became more difficult as the night pressed on. At last, something within him was triggered, causing him to kiss harder and tighten the gap gently against her. The inu's hands no longer rested where they were, and soon retreated to her rear, gripping tightly so that he beheld a better hold upon her and using little effort to lift her up onto the bar-top. With this, she was at a more reasonable level, and he no longer had to look down to kiss her as passionately. Strongly and slowly pulling her to the edge, he closed in and filled the space between her legs with his stomach, holding her close so that he could have a free, open field to kiss her neck as he pleased. His ears displayed closely against his mess of hair, and his tail remained alert and straight as a pin pressed to his backside. A low growl whispered from him, having her been switched the light on in his head as her fingers had found his weakest spot - his hair. Something about it had always aroused him, and whenever a girl were to roam her fingers through it, the more he felt the intensity course though his body to keep going. He liked to think of it as when a dog would see a bone and instantly chase after it - no matter the lack of breath in the end, all that would matter to the canine is that he got what he wanted.

Attempting to unbutton his pants, meanwhile still kissing down her neck and over her hollow collarbones, he was stopped abruptly by the sound of someone coming down that back hall. Nikolai looked up and protectively held the Alchemist at a closer distance, even despite her being on the bar counter before him. Saving a woman before a man would always be his first choice, no matter sober, nor drunk, it seemed. A flashlight roamed around, and the common jingle of keys swished at the shadow's side. "Shiiit." Nikolai slurred, pulling the Inu female down quickly and stepping back so that he could shift into place as a Great Dane. "It's Vinny-poo.., he's one of da' club's night-watchmen...person dude.. thingy, I forgot he was working toniiight.. We have to get out of here before he finds uuus." The large dog neared to Haedyn's side in an instant to feel her fur brush against his own, his balance swaying to lean on her slightly as his long legs were forced to find ground, "I'll distract himmz.. you get us a cabbie." He winked playfully, a drop of slobber dripping from the side of his mouth as he still remained quite turned on. The secretiveness to their little experience only powering that adrenaline even more as he looked over her dog-like form. She was smaller, and most likely faster as a collie would for herding, she would escape long before him and more quiet, too. He smirked, a boyish smile crossing his muzzle before flopping loudly towards the guard. The Great Dane growled ferociously, but there seemed to be three of Vinny according to his blurred vision, and it caused him to look rapidly back in forth. The one benefit to him was that Vinny did not know of Moras working for Mr. Clemmings, and the mortals would never know to whom worked here. So, Nikolai's job would rest as it is, and all the watchman would know is that a dog attacked him. When he fell, due to the dane's massive weight and power, the Inu dashed off and caught the cab Haedyn had found. When he shifted and took a seat next to her, he helped himself to wrap his arm around her and grab her face with one of his hands for a reunited kiss. "I'm taking you home with me, Gizzy." He said lastly.
