Each individual drop had its place against the glass. As more droplets gathered, the old ones would make a slow stream down and leave slightly darker tracks in the wood of the cottage. These drops were only just part of what awe inspiring happening was going on outside. The clouds had grown heavy and dark, pregnant with rain. It hadn’t come down a single drop at a time, but in one huge wave of water. All at once, anything that hadn’t been protected by another source was soaked. Wind whipped the strong branches of trees around like rag dolls. This storm had been brewing for days, all leading up to this beautiful crescendo of calming sound. Through it all, the fairytale-like cottage stood strong and brave as it protected its inhabitants. Amongst the sounds of a storm was a quiet humming. Small, simple sounds of water boiling and a spoon clinking against a pot as the contents were stirred. The delicious, heated smell of hot chocolate permeated the air around the cabin. Along with the humming was the soft padding of bare feet against the hard wood. A human-like figure had settled into the dim lighting of the kitchen, being the source of the soft hums and hot-chocolate making. This figure was anything but human though, with the extra limb of a calico-furred tail curling and flicking as the neko danced. In that small cottage, she was unaware and uncaring of the world around her. There was no music, just the dancing and humming as the neko prepared the warming beverage. There fire was ablaze in the fireplace, keeping the small cottage warm and welcoming. Willow had found this place only four years ago, but it had already settled itself within her heart as home. It was comfort, safety, all things that she needed at the moment and all moments to come. Turning off the stove, Willow let her snack cool to drinkable temperatures as she went to the cozy bedroom to change. Her pajamas were replaced with a large, cream colored sweater and maroon colored skinny jeans. Willow moved to the mirror, fixing her auburn and brunette waves and pinning her bangs back with a black lilly flower clip. The neko quickly reapplied her eyeliner and lipstick, giving herself a final glance before walking back to her cozy kitchen. She quickly poured the hot chocolate into a cup and walked out onto her porch, smiling and sitting on the porch swing to watch the storm.

Willow watched until the storm faded into just rainfall before setting her cup in the sink and walking out, umbrella in hand. She quickly slipped on her converse before skipping down the porch stairs, opening her umbrella to protect herself from the rain. A small smile was in her face as she continued to skip cheerfully. The forest passed her by, though she didn’t miss a single thing with her orange eyes. She stomped through puddles, laughing as the water splashed around her. Plants wound around her ankles and made her have to take higher steps along the path. Willow loved her home and the territory she now claimed as hers. Sounds of the city soon approached, and contracted her tail into her lower back with her ears in her head. Smiled brightly as she emerged from the forest, still skipping as she looks along the city streets for a specific cabby. She watched as cars sped through traffic. Smelling the lovely scent of freshly baked pastries and the wonderful aroma of coffee brought her back to her senses. A few more skips and she was standing at the entrance of her favorite cafe. Closing her umbrella, she skipped inside with a bright smile. All at once, everyone in the room seemed to give her a big “Hi Willow”. She wiggled her fingers towards them, taking her money from her bag and buying two jam filled donuts and a vanilla latte. “Thanks, Skip. I’ll see you tomorrow.” She waved goodbye to the normals of the cafe, having became friends with all of them over the time she had started going to the cafe. The bell dinged behind her as she walked out and headed down the sidewalk and to the nursing home on the corner. It was a beautiful place that the city had seemed to make room for. There was a large garden, full of lilies and poppies. Willow’s favorite was the small patch of snap dragons, picking one and pretending it was a real dragon. She skipped up the steps of the nursing home and waved to the ladies at the desk. Willow skipped through the back door and into the huge expanse of yard, one full of more gardens. From memory, she weaved her way through the small maze and to the patch of beautiful blue roses. Settled in the middle was a bench, and on the bench was a woman. She was only fifty or so, with telling wrinkles of her age. Willow skipped up to her and gave her a soft hug. The woman was named El, and Willow had been visiting her for two years now. The neko never once shared her secret with the old woman, but they had built a strong bond. Willow thought of El as her mother, since she never had one of her own. The neko spent every morning with the woman, talking about their day yesterday and eating jam-filled donuts. When El had to leave was when Willow walked took a walk through the shops and go to work, waitressing for many restaurants and finishing her day with the one of her choice.

As she finished her last waitressing hours for the day, she gathered her tips and counted. Willow decided that there was enough as she walked to the fish market, buying what she usually did and having it sent to one of her workplaces for her to pick up tomorrow. With that business finished, Willow skipped to one of her favorite restaurants. She rarely ever went to Red Lobster, mostly staying at her cottage and spending time with her pet. It was common for one to own an alligator, but Willow had loved Bruce from the minute she had seen him. With his albino skin, pinkish eyes, and protective behavior, he was just perfect for her. Bruce often spent his time in Willow’s cottage with her and kept her company as she patrolled her borders. No new Mora had come to her for refuge yet, but it didn’t get her spirits down. She had people she liked in the city, not having seen one more of her kind since she had escaped. It was a great thing, knowing her kind remained hidden and safe. Willow shook all the thoughts from her mind as she walked into the beloved restaurant. She took a place in the back corner, making sure she was able to see each entrance out or paranoia. As a waitress walked up to her, the neko ordered lemonade with a polite smile. There was no need to look over the menu, knowing what she wanted already and smiling with a wave to people who cast her a glance. A small sigh left her as she pulled her book from her bag, and began to read. The cheery waitress came back with her lemonade and asked he what she would like to eat. Willow kindly ordered shrimp and returned to her book. Her mind began to wander, not really looking at the words and imagining what other species were out there. She knew there were other supernatural species, not scientific mistakes like her race. Willow wanted to meet one nonetheless, hoping for to one day make a friend who wasn’t a human or an alligator.

The air was cool in the city limits. She could smell the water in the air as the rain moved in. Her golden hair whipped in the air as it blew past her. The darkness was her father, silence was her mother, and stealth was her best friend. All of these traits kept her from being noticed. And she loved every moment of it. For her life was never dull at night, which it was now only 4:30 in the morning. "Only an hour and thirty minutes left", she said as she checked her phone. Sticking the phone back in her trench coat pocket as she looked out over the city, the lights shining bright, illuminated the city like a star. As the wind blew, her long coat and hair whipped within its currents. Her bright and keen eyes swept over the land and then to the ally below her. Sighing she jumped to the neighboring building and landing perfectly on her feet. Her black boots thudding against the cement roof as her determined walk took place of her slow and steady one. Hearing a low cry out to her ears for help, the wind brought it to her in whispers. She turned her head in the direction of the wind and headed towards it. Once again her stride was determined and brisk as she moved like the shadows, quiet and swift. Vixin followed the scent of fright and fear as she came up on a scene down in an ally. A slow smile crawled across her lips, showing her fangs, granted the beings in the ally didn't know she was there. She shook her head as she examined the scene,"Why does it always have to be one woman and like three men? What? They can't find their own mates, so they hurt someone elses? Humans, I'll never understand them." on her last word, Vixin took a step and fell off the ledge of the bulding. Spreading her arms to stay balanced, landing on silent feet as she couched to take the impact off her knees. Standing to her full 5'8, thanks to her boots having thick two inch soles, she watched for a moment in the darkness. The smell of fear and fright were all around her now, and she breathed it in deeply, then cleared her throat to grab the attention of the three men. "You now most beings take the woman they are trying to seduce out to diner before they take her to bed", she kept in the shadows as she spoke. "Who goes there? And where are you, you coward. Show yourself",one of the men yelled out to the air as all of them looked around to find her. She moved in the darkness right behind the female and pressed her fingers to her lips to tell her to be quiet as the men had their backs to the woman. The female nodded and pressed closer to the wall, Vixin spoke,"Well, by the times I'm done you won't need to know all of that." The three men turned around sharply and look at her,"Well well well, what do we have here boys? She is a pretty little thing isn't she? What do you think Rex?" The male closes to her turned to the one on the right side of him, the male named Rex smiled greedily and nodded him head. The male before her took a step forwards, his knife in hand and his arm extended. Vixin grabbed it and pulled the male to her, bring her right elbow across his face and breaking his jaw; the man falls to the ground in pain. The one she realized as Rex charged her, once he was close enough she came up with a round house kick to his head, he fell as well. She quickly turned and grabbed the third man by the throat, squeezing a little as she gives him en evil grin. Picking him up in the air a little, he panicked and squirmed. "Not a good feeling is it? To be helpless and can't move. Just imagine how that girl feels right now. You're a sick bastard", she dropped him and caused him the feelings of pain so excruciating it knocked him out cold. Turning around she didn't see the female anymore,"A thank you mysterious stranger would have worked."

Just before the sun burst through the horizon, Vixin made it to her Lamborghini GT. Unlocking the doors and getting into the black car, she ignited the engine and smiled as it purred to live. She sat there for a moment, relaxing from the nights work. "God I love being me",she proclaimed. As she put the car in drive she made her way to her house. She pulled up to the Greek looking house, she bought it with the money she had saved from when her father was hung. Being a banker back then was considered wealthy, granted now now it didn't amount to much. But every now and then she would find a murder or such that had money on them, well needless to say, once Vixin was done with them. They didn't need it. So she saved up, finally having enough to pay the house off fully. Sighing she got out of the car and locked it as she headed into the house. It was dark and empty, the silence and darkness greeted her. She ran her hand through her hair as she made her way through the lobby to the house and up the grand stairs and to her room. Once in her room she began to take off her long black coat, then her boots, black jeans, and then shirt. Vixin went to her closet and looked at her clothes as she stood there in her bra and underwear. She smiled as she picked out a pair of dark faded jeans, and an lace over lay to a tank top. She slid on her jeans, then picked out a black tank top and went with the white lace over lay. She ran to her large mirror on her dresser and reapplied her make up before she went out, in search of her next meal. For the night didn't allow her time to stop and feed. After she was dressed and ready to go, she grabbed her keys and cell from her trench coat and ran down the stairs and to her car. She started it, and headed to the city again.

As she entered the city again the traffic and done picked up and the humans day had already begun. People stuck in traffic laid on their horns, some were doing their make up, or eating on the go. She looked to the people around her then zoomed away with the current of the cars into the city. "Hmm, where can I find a decent setting for a meal in private. I kind of want sea food", she had an idea as soon as the words left her lips. Vixin took the next exit and headed downtown. "Red Lobster here I come", she smiled and turned on the radio. Letting the speakers viberate as the bass kicked. Her favorite song Ride by Skillet came on. Vixin rolled the windows down and turned it up, letting the whole world she was coming. "Woohoo", she yelled as she danced to the beat and drove on her way to Red Lobster. Shortly she entered the parking lot and drove around for a moment, looking for a parking spot. She smiled as she found one that another car was coming out of. So she waited, since the spot was right beside the door to the restaurant. Once the car had moved she whipped her Lamborghini into the spot and killed the engine. Stuffing her cell and keys into her purse and then got out. She locked the doors manually and went into the restaurant. A waitor met her at the door,"Hello and welcome to Red Lobster, my name is Jace and I will be your waitor today, so what would you like to drink?" He spoke as she walked behind him, scanning the crowd. Vixin spoke without thinking,"water please", she seen that he nodded and wrote what she wanted to drink down. Soon he sat her at a table by herself. He told her,"I will return momentarily with your drink ma'am", she nodded to him. Vixin waited for him to return, as she done so her eyes swiped the area around her. She noticed a younger looking woman sitting by herself and munching on shrimp and drinking lemonade. She could hear the pulse of the female, and with a confident stride she moved over there with the woman and spoke as she stood beside the table,"Hi, I'm Vixin. May I sit with you?" She smiled to the other woman, concealing her fangs, but something felt off. Like there was something she wasn't quite seeing. But she waiting for the woman to allow her to sit with her.

Nibbling on a shrimp, the neko was completely engaged in her book. Or, it seemed to be that way as her mind drifted off to think more. She loved the gentle sounds as she turned the pages, the air gently leaving beneath the page to stir a few strands of her hair gently. The book she had bought was fairly new, and she preferred this in a way. The old, vintage ways of classic books never seemed to lose her interest for a moment. Of course, the old books she had hidden away were some of her own diaries. Filled until the bindings were about to burst with her own thoughts and her experiences. Willow made sure every book was taken care of. Ones that weren’t had a funny smell to her, something very close to pickle juice that never stopped disgusting her. It was bothersome, that smell, because it could often distract her from even the nicest of stories. Now, the novel she was reading held the faint and pleasurable aroma of vanilla. It was one of those fantasies that people seemed to enjoy, though she couldn’t help but get lost within it. It spoke of angels and romance, describing each character thoroughly and in the most creative ways. The dark, tenderly soft feathers of a wing. The passionate and warming moments of when the two who were meant to be finally finding each other. Then there was the evil. It was a heart wrenching thing, but one that was necessary within such worlds of the pages. In this book, it was the jealousy of another that dragged them down to the pits of danger and evil. From the start, Willow knew the two lovers would face difficult situations. She felt sympathy for the girl who didn’t know what fate she was going to have. The neko felt joy with the moments of happiness that were shared before all went into turmoil. She gave a small gasp as the novel portrayed the main character’s friend falling to the ground, bleeding to death and helpless. Willow’s orange eyes widened and she snapped the book shut, trying to keep the tears from coming to her eyes. She didn’t want to let tears fall in front of so many people, so instead opened the book once again and went back to nibbling on another shrimp. She became lost once again as the main character was saved and swept off of her feet by the one she loved when he was supposed to be dead. The neko knew better, knew that it wasn’t how reality worked. He was dead, he was going to stay dead. Willow suddenly realized that she wasn’t thinking of the book, but of memories that captured her mind and took her away to a more distant place. She fought with her mind slightly, but in the end gave up and let herself remember for a moment.

Kind smile, gentle ways, and wonderful personality. Her brother couldn’t be described as anything other than her most loved individual. Grey was there for her as she was dying, pulling her back to her own mind. It was never clear if he was her real brother, but they had looked similar. Same oval eyes, paler skin, and wavy hair. Though he had been an Inu, Willow had bonded with Grey over anyone else. In those cages, he was her rock to keep her from falling apart and dying altogether. She had lived for Grey, talking for the first time in a long time because of his words. Grey taught her to not be afraid, to stay strong. That is what she had done, even after his death. That moment was the hardest time Willow had ever had to face. She screamed and sobbed, hugging his bullet-filled body with terror in her eyes. After she had buried him, she had curled into her cottage and sobbed painfully. She had walked to the nearest tattoo stores and covered her body in tattoos, like Grey said he would. A ring was pierced around her nostril, like Grey said he would’ve done. How he had known such human things, Willow didn’t think she will ever know. Just like the lover in her book should have been, he was dead and not coming back. Willow had to admit that she was glad he wasn’t coming back. The world they stepped out into was something the neko would never understand. She wouldn’t want her sweet, kind brother to live in the crime and pain caused by the human race. What made her feel worse was that she wasn’t there for Grey while he was in such pain. No, she was hidden away in a corner as bullets sounded through the air, only hoping to herself that he would get out alive. When she found him, at first she thought he wasn’t real. She could barely believe any of it was real. It was just another simulation, another chance to torture her and test her. Willow was in denial for the first year, and slowly came to her senses about two years ago. She didn’t want to think, didn’t want to know as she picked herself up as well as the pieces of what she had left in her.

The sound of a sweet voice broke into her thoughts and made her look up. At first she saw the beautiful blonde hair, then turned her eyes to the face of the other woman. A bright smile lit Willow’s face as she nodded. The neko tilted her head, looking over the woman before her. Why would a stranger walk up to her in such a way? She felt as if something was wrong in this picture, and she felt caged by the woman’s gaze. In the back of her mind, she was thinking ‘predator.’ Willow kept up the bright smile and happy-seeming mood, playing the role of any friendly human woman. “Have a seat, Vixin. I’m Willow. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Willow gestured her hand for the woman to sit across from her, giving another bright smile. She slowly closed her book and placed it in her messenger back, pausing to check her phone before looking back up at her new found companion. “May I ask why you chose to sit with me? There are much more... interesting people. I am not trying to be rude, I’m just curious.” Willow took another shrimp and nibbled on it, feeling slightly shy around the other woman.

PostSubject: Re: Friends By Fate (Vixin/Open)   Friends By Fate (Vixin/Open) Icon_minitimeSun Aug 04, 2013 1:06 am

As Vixin stood there she could feel the feelings of the woman who sat in front of her. She could feel the happiness and sadness that shortly followed. Vixin wondered what she had been thinking about, and if she interrupted the females thoughts. Not only could she feel the woman's feelings, but also the humans around them. Some were deep in love, some had happiness dancing around them, and some were feeling a bit more professional. She glanced to the table with the two business men, then to the table with the couple, and finally to a table with four girls who where laughing and giggling. She smiled, thinking of the time when she and her friends did that. They were the times she loved life the most. And she was the happiest. Compaired to know, her solitary ways, always hiding in the shadows, always trying to go unnoticed by anybody. But now when the way things were, her favorite parts where when she was feeding. To get to feel the comfort and presences of another for a little while, then get up and leave. She was a ghost to many, coming and going as she pleased. It was like she was there one moment, then gone the next. Honestly, she grew to like it. No tie downs, no relationships, no one to worry where she was at. Yep, that was her, and she loved it. But now the woman's voice broke into her thoughts and own feelings. As the woman introduced herself as Willow she sat in the seat across from her. Placing her purse of the back of her chair, letting it hang there. She listened as Willow spoke, telling her it was a pleasure to meet her and then asking why she choose to sit with her. Instead of any of the other people in the restaurant. Vixin shrugs and then spoke in a calm and collected voice,"I thought you seemed lonely there for a moment. And I wasn't really wanting to sit by myself. I mean I hope you dont mind me sitting with you. I can move if you are uncomfortable with me sitting here." Vixin still had that lingering feeling something wasn't right here. And she was determined to find out what it was. For she had never felt like this before. She was always sure at what and who she was talking to. For she hadn't met ay like her since the day she was turned. Much less any thing that wasn't in the normal. Humans, were her normal and that was it. If there were any other species out there other then the obvious vampires. Vixin didn't know about it. But if there were, she wanted to know about it. Granted she knew about the werewolves, vile and distasteful creatures they were. Always killing out of rage and hate. It made her shudder with anger, but it quickly faded. as she spoke again,"So do you come her often? In all my times of coming her for lunch I haven't once seen you around here."

Vixin waited for her answer, and as she did her waitor came and sat her tall glass of water down beside her. She smiled up to him and he smiled back to her, as he did so she could feel his interest in her. It made her chuckle as he walked off and back into the kitchen behind the large double swinging doors. She wrapped her fingers around the cool glass and lifted ti to her mouth, taking a drink then sitting it back down on the table. Looking around once more, she spotted a few of the humans that were once in the restaurant had left. The area was becoming more secluded and private, just the way Vixin liked it. Quiet and calm. No hassle or harsh words directed towards anyone. She had had enough of that the night of her mothers last breath. She shook the thought mentally from her mind. Not wanting to give any signs of her past or memories. She smiled to Willow, still concealing her fangs well. Since she had done it many of times when she would hit the clubs in search of her next fix. They were a great place for it, it also gave her lots of practice on people skills. Granted when she was a human she had amazing people skills, but back then she wasn't trying to fight the urge to sink her teeth in their neck either. But now she could control her urges, but she wasn't in the mood nor did she need to feed right now. Honestly, she was looking for company and friendship. For she had went so long without it. Now that she planned on staying in that area she was looking for a friend to be there for her. Hoping that Willow would be up for that. Even if she had an unusual dental problem and unusual drinking habits. But Vixin wasn't about to let that surface, if she could help it.

PostSubject: Re: Friends By Fate (Vixin/Open)   Friends By Fate (Vixin/Open) Icon_minitimeTue Aug 06, 2013 11:15 am

There was something terribly off about this woman in front of her. As Willow looked closely at Vixin, she noticed small things about the woman. Each strand of her blonde hair had fallen perfectly into place, even when she moved. The skin of her face wasn’t just pretty, it was flawless. The neko started to wonder what makeup Vixin used to make herself look in such a way, let alone what hair product. She somehow felt out of place next to this woman, like she wasn’t going to compare to such a creature as the one before her. Taking a small sip of her lemonade, Willow began to eat another shrimp as her eyes looked where Vixin’s already had. There were people who seemed to be on business meetings to her, but that wasn’t what caught her eye. It was the couples around them, the ones that showed small signs of love and passion. The man and woman to their left had their arms wrapped around each other, not seeming to want to go a moment without touching. This made the Mora Queen sigh and smile, the sappy part within her coming out for a few moments. She turned her eyes back to Vixin and gave the vampire a welcoming smile, still keeping her human facade though she was growing increasingly uncomfortable. Going into town meant hiding her ears and tail that so desperately to spring from their places. Leaning forwards slightly, she shifted her tail in its place within her back. She couldn’t move her ears for fear of them flying up without her permission. Every trip into town was a sort of test, one that allowed her to stay longer and longer as what seemed to be a human. Willow knew that soon an ache would begin in her lower back as well as the top of her head. Stretching her back slightly, the neko stretched the small muscles of her tail. She made sure to lean back into the seat so no one would see her skin shifting and moving. Comfortable once again, Willow took her hair within her hands and put it over one shoulder. Her focus turned back to Vixin as the woman began to speak, her smile never fading. As the woman spoke, Willow took the last shrimp and took a bite of it before chewing slowly. The Mora slowly nodded in agreement with her newfound companion and took a breath to speak. “I was, in fact, lonely. I can understand not wanting to sit alone when it seems as if all the others around us have company. Oh no, you don’t have to move. In fact, I am quite fine with you sitting here. No, I don’t exactly come here often. I had just gotten off of work and felt the desire for seafood. Though, I am not always one to be seen. I can be quite.... Sneaky, I guess you could call it. I’ve been around, just not noticed usually. Do you come here often? I don’t believe I have ever seen you before.” The corners of Willow’s mouth turned up at her own words, knowing just how sneaky she could be. Vixin had probably seen her before and just never noticed it. Then again, who would pay attention to a stray cat?

As the waiter came to give Vixin her drink, he also took Willow’s empty plate from her. The neko quietly ordered a refill of her lemonade and the waiter to it without paying attention. It was obvious he had all eyes for her companion, but it was also obvious that the woman was way beyond his league. The waiter was most likely the age of nineteen. He had the body of a boy on the very verge of being a man, one of those with the soft skin and muscles beneath that skin. Looking at his face, Willow could see the slight red to the human’s cheeks. There were faint traces of acne, but it was obvious that he took care of himself. He could try to make advances but they all knew he had to get back to his job. She guessed that he was only just beginning college, if only she could do that herself. School for her was near impossible, though she was taking courses online and home shcooling herself. Willow gave the human a quick once over as he walked away before turning to Vixin. She couldn’t help but wonder what this small meeting would turn into. Willow had been looking for a friendship, though she wouldn’t be able to bring a friend back to her kingdom. It was a sacred place that the Mora could be themselves freely. Willow couldn’t help but want to befriend Vixin, and it was just possible. To the neko, the woman in front of her was willing to make a friendship. If it was true, Willow would jump at the chance. It was a lonely life, being a Mora. Word between her species was going around that she had started her own life and created a safe haven for the others of her species. It was really only a matter of time, or at least that was what she was hoping. For a time, the neko considered living among the humans. Her species was just too dear to her to do so, but a few friends along the way wouldn’t hurt.

((Sorry its short, was trying to get to the point))

Vixin watched as Willow ate the last of her shrimp and drink the last drop of sweet lemonade. She looked around the restaurant as Willow turned and looked in the direction her eyes had already been. Soon Willow's shifting and moving caught her keen eyes as she looked to the woman in front of her with slight confusion,"Everything alright Willow?" Her voice was calm and low so nobody but Willow could hear her. Feelings of romance were in the air as they tugged on her power, she ignored them. Glancing around once more she noticed there were even more fewer people in the joint. The section that her and the woman had sat in was now vacate and they were alone. but now Willow spoke and she grinned as she listened to the woman tell her she was glad Vixin had come to sit with her. If only she knew what Vixin was, she might not be so glad. For Vixin was seen as a monster by many, well actually, her whole race was considered monsters. The things that go bump in the night. Ha! Yes, she was a thing that went bump in the night, but for good reasons. Known to none, but a hero to many.

Vixin returned her attention to Willow, hearing all of what she had said as she trailed off a little. "I'm glad I could accompany you today. And speaking of being sneaky, I tend to be like a ghost. Here one moment and then gone the next. But I don't plan on leaving your company",she grinned a little,"and honestly, I do come here alot. My father was a banker. but umm, he died a couple of years ago. But all his money and house went to me." Vixin looked to the waitor as he returned with Willows refill. He smiled and winked at her, she did her best to hide her laughter as it fought to come out the thought of,"I'm way out of your league", crossed her mind. But she dare not say the words to his face, so she played it off and grinned to him a little. He placed Willows drink down and turned to her, he spoke in a slightly deep voice,"May I take your order now ma'am?" Vixin shook her head a little,"No thank you i'm not hungry today, thank you though." She gave him a small smile and he walked awake.

Vixin turned back to Willow and laughed, her fangs not concealed as she did so. Soon she realized what she had just did and shut her mouth with a click. She looked to see Willows reaction. If she was a normal human she would run, if she was a werewolf. Well, there was about to be a huge fight in the Red Lobster restaurant. Her blue eyes slightly wider as she waited for the reaction to come. "Please tell me she didn't see them, gosh please say she didn't see my fangs",the words repeated in her mind as he sat there.

Settling in her seat once again, Willow ha relaxed her extra limb and was completely comfortable. Her eyes settled once again on Vixin as she nodded, keeping her friendly smile. “Yes, I’m fine. I’m wonderful actually.” The Mora didn’t want to speak of herself, she wanted to figure out why Vixin seemed so off to her. So far, Vixin had not found her out or known what she was. It was a good thing because the Queen certainly wasn’t about to let her true self show. She couldn’t imagine what would happen if she did that. The labs would be back, but this time it all would change. Every last one of her kind would be found when they went to look for her after she vanished. Instead of more experiments, she knew what would happen this time. They would all be executed, killed and slaughtered like the animals the humans thought them to be. The neko had no clue what she would do then since there was no Grey to lead her or tell her how to get out. If there was barely any chance of escape before, then there certainly was hardly a chance now. Her eyes and mind turned back to Vixin, examining her closely. Willow couldn’t help but think about the other species, trying to pinpoint where and how she would know this woman. She seemed nothing but human, then again so did Willow. There were things that were too vast for her to even try to understand. It was hard enough to learn the history and ways of the humans after being in nothing but a cage. Online homeschooling and classes all under a fake name and ID were what she could do to compensate for her lack of knowledge. As Vixin went to speak again, the Queen listened intently to the woman and gave out a small laugh. “That’s good to know, Vixin. I’ll be sure to keep a better eye out for you and your ghostly charms. I’m sorry, I know what loss feels like. My brother is no longer on this earth anymore either. Like your father, I lost him a few years ago.” Willow gave Vixin a deep look of understanding and sympathy before taking a sip of her lemonade.

If Willow hadn’t been examining Vixin so closely, she might’ve not even seen the sharp points of fangs at the other woman laughing. It started to all slowly click together puzzle piece by puzzle piece. Odd perfection such as Vixin made her feel small, quite like it was said a vampire would be. That was the word, vampire. It echoed in the walls of her mind and suddenly she knew exactly what Vixin was. Suddenly, Willow wanted to speak with this woman somewhere besides a public place. “I think we need to speak somewhere besides a place full of humans, Vixin. You and I both know that there is no denying what you just revealed, so I must reveal myself as well.” As the bill was placed on the table, Willow pulled out her wallet and took out the appropriate amount of money. It was taken and her meal was finally paid for. The Queen took her purse and stood, looking at Vixin before speaking. “I think there is an ally somewhere close, unless you know of someplace where we wouldn’t be seen."

Vixin nodded as she watching Willow take out her money for her food and drink. Vixin followed suit and paid for her water. Soon listening to Willow speak as she stood and grabbed her purse. Now Vixin knew that Willow had seen her fangs. "Just great, the Dominus will be furious when he finds out about this", she thought to herself. But upon standing up she grabbed her own purse and stood,"I don't know how comfortable you would be coming back home with me. So my house is out of the question. But I do have a car that we could ride around in and speak of the matter at hand. If would would be willing to do such a thing. I assure you I won't hurt or even touch you, and we shall stay in city limits as well." Vixin made her way to the front desk, she smiled to the wait or that served them and waved as he waved to her. Soon out of the restaurant she let a silent sigh of relief out. Honestly glad to be out of the food joint.

Soon she stood beside the car, waiting for Willows' answer to her question. Hopefully she would agree and they could get a move on. Being in an ally was to risky for what they needed to speak about. And didn't she say some about revealing herself as well? Yes, Willow did say something of the sort, which made the car ride all that more suitable. They could be inside the tinted windows of the car and no peering eyes would see them from the outside. No humans or other vampires would have the chance to peek and see what they were speaking about. Besides, being in her GT as they talked would make her all that more comfortable. But if her new found friend wished not to go with her. Vixin would completely understand.

Taking those few steps to the door, Willow dropped her human-like way of walking. Instead, she allowed the graceful strides of a feline take their place. She still looked human, but now she slinked out of the restaurant to follow Vixin. Willow thought over what she was going to do and just how she was going to do it as her tail shifted uncomfortably at the base of her spine. She wanted to allow it to slither out as she walked but there were too many viewing eyes. Her thought went to Vixin’s fangs, knowing full well what she was now. It was funny to her. Just this morning she had been thinking about the other creatures that were said to be out there, but now she had actually met one. ‘A vampire,’ she thought, 'Not just some random creature, but a vampire.’ Her thoughts mulled this over as they reached the car. It had darkened out windows and an icy hand clutched her heart within her chest. This reminded her of a cage, only it was larger. She told herself not to be ridiculous, that it was only just a car. It wasn’t like Vixin was going to hand her over to the labs to be executed once she was what she was. Or would she? Willow stood at the passengers side of the car, looking at it and thinking about her chances. If anything like what she feared would happen, she could just jump from the window. Extending her arm, Willow opened the door to the car and slid inside, looking around and waiting for Vixin to get in before the show had started.

“Okay, well first of all, these aren’t colored contacts,”
she said while gesturing to her harvest orange eyes. Most humans thought she was one of those punk people because she did have tattoos covering her arms and most of her body. But no, the tattoos were there for a reason, and her eyes were most definitely not fake. Sliding forwards until she sat at the end of the seat, she lifted the back of her shirt and allowed her tail to slowly slide out from its place within her back. In doing so, she instantly felt more relaxed and allowed catlike ears to come from their hiding places. “Also, I have these.” Willow closed her eyes to finish what she was doing, feeling the slight tingle in her spine before opening her eyes again and looking down. What had once looked like a human was now a small calico cat. She sat in the center of the passenger seat, looking up at Vixin with slitted pupils and licking her paw. “As you can see, I am not human. I am a neko, and you are a vampire. Nice to finally meet one of you.” Willow flicked her ears forwards and watched the vampire, seeing what reaction she would get to something such as this. Most of the time she made sure to meow, but what was the point? Vixin had surely seen the whole thing and there was no hiding, so the queen sat and watched the vampire quietly.

Vixin listened as Willow spoke of her eyes, and how they weren't real. Although it didn't matter to her if they weren't real or not, Willow's eyes were very stunning. In fact she found that Willow was beautiful, in an unlesbian way that is. As in a friendly way, and nothing more. She smiled, glad to not be the only one whom was of a different species. Because all she had meet these past couple of moths were humans and the Dominus. Now she most defintely knew others were out there adn that mean, werwolves were most definitely out there. Even though she had never seen one personally. She watched as Willow blinked and showed her the harvest orange eyes turn into harvest orange cat eyes, then a tail slithered out from under her skirt. But before her eyes the once human Willow, turned into a feline right before her eyes. "It is surely a pleasure to meet you as well Willow, I have never in all my years seen one of your kind. Or well, one of your kind change before my eyes. Although I have seen many of your kind and just never realized it.", Vixin kept a smile on her face. "Umm, would you mind coming to my house with me? Its not far from here and I can always take you home later. There we can truly be ourselves. Instead of sitting in my car while others watch us in the car",she glanced out of the windshield at the people passing her car and giving her a strange look while she talked to a cat, whom they didn't know was a human. Vixin glanced back to her, waiting for er to answer.
